“Brijana is just downright awesome! I was extremely reluctant to leave my dog at a daycare center so I turned to rover. I found Brijana a day or so before I had to leave town for the weekend and asked her if she could watch our 4 month old pitbull. Without any hesitation she agreed to my request. After a brief meeting at her home with Odin and myself I knew the two were a perfect fit. To cut to the chase I work long week days and I live in a condo with no backyard, so I asked Brijana if she could start watching him for me during the week and once again with out any hesitation she replied "of course." Now Brijana is Odins forever nanny and he loves it, if you don't believe me just look at how happy the blue pitbull puppy is on her ad. Brijana is so patient, tanative, and nurturing. I couldn't have found a better puppy nanny for my little guy. She has definitely exceeded my expections by a long shot. So stop wasting time reading my review and book her now, you won't regret it.”

“John was able to accept a short notice request and was very accommodating to my situation. He sent updates and pictures frequently. Will definitely be trusting him with my fur baby again!”

“I highly, highly recommend Bri for a sitter. My Rosie is 3.5 lbs and was so happy to see her every morning. Bri was so loving and caring and took extra steps to make sure she was happy and felt loved. I didn't worry while I was at work because she gave me updates and sent pictures thru out the day. Thank you Bri from the bottom of my heart for the love and care Rosie received. If I come back, you will Def be my Rosie person. ❤️❤️❤️”

“We are beyond grateful to have found Kristen to care for our beagle, Annie! She had an incredible week filled with fun, and absolutely loved playing with Piper all week. We can’t recommend Kristen highly enough!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was eight years old when I got my first kitten. My wife and I have two older children (20 and 14) who also love animals. We have a friendly neutered Bengal cat named Meeko and two years ago we rescued our mini-golden doodle, Jack (also neutered)! I took a break from Rover so we could transition Jack into our family, but now I’m back, as he adapted well and enjoys playing with our cat and other dogs. We live in Kings Grant in Marlton, where you may see Jack and me walking around the lake or playing at the dog park. I am an ICU nurse, working three nights a week, and while I’m at work, the rest of my family is still home, allowing us to provide 24/7 availability to care for your pets. I am available for overnight care/ boarding, drop-ins, and walks (both short and long). I have references upon request and can’t wait to hear from you! I am currently at home full-time and am available 24/7 for any of your pet care needs! I have plenty of cat and dog toys and would love to take your dog to the local dog park or on walks! I am available 24/7 to help with any pet care needs! Whether it is on your home or mine or taking your pet for a walk or to the dog park!
“So happy with the entire experience! Samantha took such good care of my Banjo, sent pictures the entire day and kept me updated on how he was doing. I would definitely recommend and will keep her in mind if I need someone to watch Banjo in the future!”

“I brought my two beagles to Stacey for a year, and she and Anthony took wonderful care of them. They were very easy to work with, and whenever my family gets another dog, we definitely plan on using Stacey again.”
“Shanee was a wonderful host. My Theo did not want to leave her house by the time I came to pick him up. It was so nice feeling relieved; knowing that my dog's having a good time with a good caring family while i was at work. I highly recommend! Thank you so much, Shanee & the family. I shall be back for sure.”

About: Pet Care Experience I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra love and patience. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, giving meds, and of course plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. What Sets Me Apart I really take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and quirks. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn good habits, supporting an older dog who moves at a slower pace, or sticking to a routine to keep your pup comfortable, I always adjust to what your dog needs. I also pay close attention to little details—like favorite toys, treats, or special instructions—so you can feel at ease knowing your best friend is in caring hands. Since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to give your dog the attention they deserve throughout the day. I can easily step away for walks, playtime, or check-ins, and I love having the company of dogs while I work. Whether it’s sticking to a set feeding and potty schedule or adding in some extra cuddle breaks, I’m able to keep your pup’s routine consistent and stress-free. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my care, I make sure they’re in a secure and pet-friendly environment—free of hazards, with plenty of space to relax and play. I always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s diet, medication, or special routines, so your pup feels right at home. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect as I would my own. I keep doors locked, routines consistent, and make sure your dog feels safe and loved until you return. Building trust is important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and quick check-ins to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Brian was great! Super flexible with my odd work hours. Finn was very nervous as Brian was his first sitter, but he ended leaving with a wagging tail! Loved the photo updates as well!”

“Leah and her family have such a loving, dog-friendly home! This was the first time I left my 5 month old pup and I am confident she had a good day. I was updated constantly with photos of her playing and of her resting. Leah and her family are certainly aware of dogs’ (and puppies!) needs. I plan to definitely use their services again. Thank you, Leah!”

“Alex was very responsive and able to accept a last minute request. He sent pictures as promised and Rosie was calm and happy when we picked her up. We will definitely use Alex again.”

“It's hard to find someone to control my 90lb Doberman but Artesha handled him with ease, knowledgeable, responsive, and Attentive I can't put into words how great she is with my puppy.”

“Lauren took good care of my dog Maple. Maple was a bit anxious but Lauren made her feel at home. By the end of the stay, Maple seemed very happy. I’d definitely recommend Lauren and I will be sure to book again.”

“Devon was amazing! She looked after our highly anxious dog for a full day and made sure she felt comfortable and had a great time. Would definitely book again!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
