“Krista took wonderful care of our cat! She was consistently communicative, checked in around the same time each day, followed all of our feeding instructions, and made sure to give her plenty of playtime and attention plus lots of great photos. We felt completely at ease leaving our cat in her care.”

“Anthony is amazing, the care and love he showed for Persi was amazing. All the camera shots were fantastic to get every time he visited. Even brought in our packages! 10 out of 10!”

“Sydney was fantastic! She took such great care of my senior cat, provided great pictures, and had such great communication. I really can't recommend her enough and will definitely call her back :)”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for 6 years now, most of which have been around 10 years old or older all loved with extreme care. I am currently on summer break from college and am able to care for pets on most weekdays and some weekends depending on my availability. I have my own dog in the city and am very comfortable walking and taking care of her. I would care for your dog the same way you would both in and out of the home.
“Joseph was so great & communicative! So helpful and prompt when taking our old guy out every day. Our dog is very picky with who he likes and he took to Joseph immediately! Will definitely us again.”

“Ellen was fantastic with Clover. She came to do a “Meet and Greet” and then we walked Clover to the park. Clover immediately took to Ellen, and I would not hesitate to have her watch Clover again. I would highly recommend!”

“Ren is great with my cats! She always takes good care of them, accomodates all their weird eating preferences, and is very communicative with me and sends lots of cute pics :) definitely highly recommend for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter!”

“Nicole was fantastic with our two cats, who required a lot of love and attention while we were out of town. She always went above and beyond which was extremely helpful and appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“Kyra was absolutely wonderful with my cat Boondi! She went above and beyond in every way, sending me photos and videos throughout the day so I always knew Boondi was happy and well cared for. It was clear from the updates that Boondi warmed up to her quickly, and they really bonded. Kyra was also incredibly attentive with Boondi’s oral medication, giving it at the right times and asking thoughtful clarifying questions to make sure everything was done correctly. Her communication was excellent. She let me know when she was on her way and kept me in the loop on everything from feeding to how Boondi was doing. You can tell Kyra genuinely loves animals, and her warm, caring presence made all the difference for my girl while I was away! I would absolutely book her again in a heartbeat.”

“Gregory is amazing. I have used him more than once and my dog loves him. He is so good with my dog and I have a very large and hyper dog. I highly recommend.”

“Dee Dee was great! She helped out last minute while I was away on vacation after another dog sitter I had hired canceled. She even sent pictures! Would definitely ask her to let Theo out again :)”

“Sydney was great with my cat. She did everything I had asked, and my cat clearly liked her a lot. Sydney even went the extra mile to clean her litter box out and was extremely flexible when my travel plans changed. Will definitely book again!”

“Greg did a great job with Jack! He stopped by before his bookings for 2 meet and greets to make sure Jack was comfortable. He went above and beyond with the walks, hangouts and training. We’re excited to book Greg again and we know Jack is too.”

About: I've grown up with both dogs and cats and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. While I've mostly worked with medium to large sized dogs, small dogs and cats are great as well and I have experience playing, walking, feeding, and bathing animals in all walks of life. I work part-time while playing softball over the span of the summer, but I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pets. I love all animals and will treat yours with as much respect as I do my own, while also being sure to cater to your specific pet's needs.

“Jac was a wonderful cat sitter — extremely attentive, great at communication, and made me feel safe leaving my little buddy alone with her for close to three weeks. This was my first time using Rover and I was initially nervous, but immediately from the meet and greet it was apparent Jac was both a true professional and animal lover. She was so gentle with my cat and attentive to the cat’s level of comfort, be it initial wariness or a later desire to play. Throughout my trip Jac sent wonderful updates and lots of photos, and even let me FaceTime with kitty when I was particularly missing her. I never for one second had to worry about if she was being well taken care of, and it was evident even from my cat’s body language in the photos how happy my cat was. Normally when I get home from a trip, kitty is absolutely crazed, but this time she was remarkably calm and didn’t seem stressed at all. I will absolutely be using Jac for future cat sitting needs, and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a top notch sitter!!”

Julia is an attentive and caring catsitter who will care for your cats like they’re her own! She provides so many cute photos, detailed updates on each visit, and is great to communicate with. I know my cats are in great hands with her and truly trust her with their wellbeing.

We had to find a last min sitter for a recent trip and Rachel was the perfect choice. She quickly responded and offered to meet us the following day. She was knowledgeable, receptive and professional. Our pets took to her immediately! It was very sweet. She provided detailed updates which reassured our boys were in good hands. We rebooked her within the week and she was graciously flexible with her busy schedule to cover. She was overall superb, I highly recommend her services!

Webb is great with our cats! One of them is allergic to fleas, and had some skin irritation while we were gone. Webb was quick to let me know and was able to give him flea medicine and kept me updated on his progress. They even got my shyer cat to play. Thanks so much, Webb!

I highly recommend Megan! She took excellent care of our cat while we were away and was great about everything - attentive to our pet, a great communicator, provided detailed notes and photos, and left everything in perfect order. Very grateful for her high quality care!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camden. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
