“Melissa helped us out with multiple drop-in visits and did a great job. She was very responsive and professional, and was caring and compassionate with our 10 week old pup. We will definitely be booking again!”
About: I have spent all of my life around animals, and have absolutely loved spending time with them since I was young. As a kid I volunteered at my local shelter, playing with the residents and doing what I could to help take care of them and keep them happy. I personally grew up with both cats and dogs. I was the family member responsible for training and teaching our dogs new commands. I would be more than happy to go on long walks or spend time playing with and keeping your pets company. I am currently a school teacher on break, so I have plenty of time to love on your fur baby! I am currently openly available, until the school year begins in September. Until then, I am generally available during the week from 8 am to 10 pm. I am more than happy to feed, walk, play with, and love your animals in your home. I have experience with administering insulin to cats as well.
About: Caring for pets is my passion. I'm a veterinary assistant with experience in general practice, emergency/critical care, and medical oncology. I have also volunteered as a puppy sitter for Guide Dogs for the Blind, an organization dedicated to helping the visually impaired community. Growing up, I always helped family, friends, and neighbors care for their pets, and I began my professional career in veterinary medicine at 19 years old. My beloved dog Dovey crossed the rainbow bridge recently. I would love to offer pet sitting/dog walking services to help you, and to help heal my heart. I am currently available for pet sitting service in your home, and dog walking service. I am currently looking for full time employment. Availability is subject to change when I begin working full time. My priority is making your pet feel safe and comfortable. I am well versed in animal behavior and reading their body language. I always approach pets in a calm, gentle manner.
“Brielle was great with Samson. He can be a bit anxious with new people but she was able to make him feel comfortable enough for petting and belly rubs. She also went above and beyond and picked up dog poop in my yard (that my son was supposed to do that week (eye roll)). Brielle has a very sweet disposition and you can feel how much she cares for dogs.”

“We feel like we can really count on Amanda to be there when she says she’ll be there! She always sends great pictures of our dogs and we know she’s taking good care of them!”

“Megan did an amazing job with our cats. She came by the day before to ensure she knew how to properly care for the cats. No issues during the stay and would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have taken care of a variety of pets since I was little. I am free to do daily visits and/or walks. I also have experience with administering insulin and I am comfortable giving other medications as well. During the summer I am working part time and will be returning to school late September. I am very flexible and have lots of time to spend with your pets! I am comfortable with all sizes of pets and varying needs. I can provide leashes and poop bags for walks. I also always bring water, especially on hot days.
“Denille was absolutely fantastic! Hooch quickly felt comfortable with her and was excited for her visits. She maintained his schedule on time and accurately. I wouldn’t hire anyone one else if I am in need of a sitter. Another upside is I think my Hooch is planning vacations for me so he can see Denille again.”

“Greg did a great job with Jack! He stopped by before his bookings for 2 meet and greets to make sure Jack was comfortable. He went above and beyond with the walks, hangouts and training. We’re excited to book Greg again and we know Jack is too.”

“Charles did a great job watching our cats. From the first time we met him we could tell he really cared about the animals he visits. That was made even more clear after his first visit when we received a very well written and funny review. I couldn’t recommend him enough if you need a pet sitter!”

“We had a great experience with our dog sitter while we were away. He took excellent care of Julie and Romeo, made sure they were fed, let outside regularly, and kept us updated throughout the stay with pictures and messages, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. It was clear both dogs were comfortable and well cared for. We really appreciated the communication, reliability, and attention he gave them. I would definitely trust him to watch Julie and Romeo again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for dependable pet care.”

“Nicole was amazing! Very quick and polite communication. Took great daily photos and followed up with everything! She even handled some things that were outside of my initial request, to make sure we returned to a good situation. Would definitely recommend her, and will be using her again myself!”

“Justin is awesome. The cats love him, he takes extra care to make sure they eat and that all their meds and supplements are taken as needed, and he gives very informative, detailed updates after each visit. He gives me excellent peace of mind when I travel. Thanks Justin!”

“Kendra is a pro! We needed help at the last minute to walk our dog; Kendra responded quickly and showed up to care for a new client like she's known him for years. So thankful and appreciative of her services. Highly recommend!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Collingswood
Kelsey was amazing with my cat! We just moved to our new house before a week away, so I was feeling a little worried about Bitsy's being without us. But Kelsey's visits clearly made my kitty happy. The daily photos, videos and other home updates were fantastic. Thank you so much, Kelsey!! Highly recommend!

We booked Brielle to do daily check ins on our cat, Roxy, while away on our wedding and honeymoon. Working with Brielle was easy and stress free. Brielle gave us daily updates that made us feel confident and comfortable that Roxy was well cared for while we were away! Roxy who is shy at first warmed up to Brielle quickly again making us feel good. We would recommend Brielle and will book again in the future!

Amy was amazing! This was the first time ever trying rover and we went with Amy. She was truly amazing from the very first second we met her. Leaving your pets alone for the very first time is scary let alone having a stranger in your house while you are away. Amy was amazing and we felt completely safe with her. She took good care of our kitties and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again for future vacations. Thank you so much Amy! 💜

So grateful for having found Tara - reliable, responsible, gives good visit reports, and has incredible patience trying to catch a quick photo of our shy and elusive calico! Tara has taken care of our cat a few times when we’ve been away and we trust her as our go-to. Highly recommend. Thank you Tara!

Greg was really great with our three cats! He took care to make sure everyone was ok during his daily drop ins, and was very thorough with all of the feeding and care tasks we had for him to do. Our cats loved him, he has a good way of relating to animals of all different personalities. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody for daily cat care.

Courtney is the best!!! She went above and beyond to take excellent care of my 3 kitties and also to ease my anxiety about leaving my babies for 2 weeks. She was a great communicator and left detailed notes and photos every day she visited. She spent extra time with them nearly every day, which was great because the shy cats loved her and the attention she gave them! They opened up to her immediately which was really amazing. She even vacuumed and brought my mail in. 1000/10 recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
