About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes for friends and neighbors, but I also have volunteer as a Day Adventurer at ACCT. This has given me invaluable experience with diverse temperaments and leash-handling for dogs of all sizes. I grew up with dogs, but don’t currently have one of my own. Whether your dog requires a strict crate schedule, specific walk times, or high-energy exercise, I am happy to do whatever they need to feel safe and enjoy their time while your away. Availability: I recently ended employment at Penn as a Project Manger in June and currently enjoying summer- working from home on applications so I am ideally suited for dogs who enjoy a morning and evening "adventure" with a calm midday nap! My apartment is adjacent to park and SRT. I currently work full time as a research project manager at Penn M-F 9-5 with occasional WFH. I am free weekends for adventures with your pup. My apartment is neat and your dog can be free to roam or if has a certain crate schedule happy to follow. Right outside my apartment is a park with lots of green space and close to schuylkill river trail.

She was impressive at our Meet and Greet, warm and friendly, and Anabelle was clearly comfortable from the second we visited Brijana. At the drop off time she was professional, warm, and assured me that my fluffy big baby would do terrifically, which she did. I was particularly impressed that she went ahead and sent a video within 5 minutes of drop off, during which Anabelle looked shy and a little ill at ease. She could be heard encouraging her and helping her fit in with the other dogs. Within 15 minutes I received another video, showing Anabelle romping and happily playing with the pups she was earlier shy with. Brijana dropped something off at our house later that evening and Anabelle was thrilled to see her - another plus! I will absolutely use her services again!”

I had such a great experience leaving my dog, Alfie, with Jami & Brian this summer! Alfie has some separation anxiety and behavioral quirks, so finding the right sitter can sometimes be challenging, but Jami & Brian were incredibly understanding, accommodating, and welcoming. They provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. It’s clear that they’re experienced, attentive to specific needs, and genuinely care about the dogs they look after. They provided Alfie with a safe and comfortable environment and kept me updated with photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Alfie was clearly well cared for, felt safe and relaxed, and had a great time! If I could give Madi 100 stars, I absolutely would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough. Finding someone I truly trust to care for Bruno has always been extremely difficult. Bruno is not an easy dog to watch, and to put it nicely, he definitely does NOT like most people! 😂 He has his own personality, his own quirks, and he takes his time deciding who he is going to trust. Because of that, leaving him with someone for five days was a really big deal for me. Then we found Madi, and I honestly could not have asked for a better person to care for him. Madi is one of the sweetest, kindest, most patient and loving people. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand Bruno instead of expecting Bruno to adjust to her. She respected his personality, gave him the space and patience he needed, and treated him like he was her own dog. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. She kept me updated, made me feel completely comfortable while I was away, and most importantly, I could tell that Bruno was safe, happy and genuinely cared for. As someone who worries about leaving him because I know he can be challenging, having that peace of mind was priceless. What really says everything is that Bruno liked her! If you know Bruno, you know that is probably the biggest compliment anyone could receive. 😂 He doesn't hand out his approval easily! You can tell Madi genuinely loves animals and isn't just "watching a dog." She puts her heart into caring for them. She was patient with Bruno's quirks, loving toward him, and never made me feel like he was difficult or a burden. She accepted him exactly as he is, and that is something I will always appreciate. I came home feeling like I had finally found someone I can trust with my boy, and that is such a huge relief. I would recommend Madi a million times over to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog with kindness, patience, love and compassion. Madi, thank you for taking such amazing care of Bruno and for loving my grumpy, misunderstood boy just the way he is. ❤️ You have no idea how much it means to me to finally have someone I feel completely comfortable leaving him with. If Rover ever adds a 100-star option, I'm coming back to update this review
Bruno had a ball during his stay ( Aug. 21-30 2026 ) Cindy was so kind and caring she took real good care of him it was his first time away from home and us, and the Topper was he was just over 13 months old. He was timid and she made him feel right at home and at ease. And he got along with the other dogs. We would definitely use her services in the future and would recommend her to others. Denise kept our Duke for just over a week while we were away on vacation. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but Denise walked me through the whole process. She told me all about the process as she’s a pro and made time to meet Duke before our trip. While we were on our trip we got CONSTANT updates and immediate responses when reaching out to check on Duke. She paid close attention to his needs and made sure she immediately expressed any concerns she had with him which I very much appreciated. I wholeheartedly feel like my dog was cared for exactly how she cares for her own dog and I will say that is truly invaluable! I know she loved our Duke very much and we will absolutely be booking with Denise in the future. Thank you Denise for taking such good care of my baby!
Hendry went above and beyond with my 2 boxers. He sent me updates on how they were adjusting and pictures on most days. He allowed them to spend time with his family and play with Nova, his dog. This was mine and my dogs first time away from each other and Hendry made sure they felt safe and let them open up slowly which I so appreciated. Hendry and his wife are very caring and genuinely love dogs. I was able to relax on vacation and I appreciate Hendry and his family for this. Cannot say enough positive things about the excellent care oakland and olive received. They will be be staying with Hendry again in the future!! Thanks again!
April was awesome with Harley! She sent many updates and photos. Harley looked, and was, relaxed and comfortable. Harley has Myasthenia Gravis and has a specific medication and food schedule, and April kept to the schedule perfectly. I highly recommend April to care for your furbaby!
David and Phyllis were wonderful in accommodating our unique situation and went above and beyond to make sure Cassie felt comfortable in their home. Communication was excellent—not only with us but also with our friend who had been caring for Cassie during the month. They kept us well informed and made sure we received updates on how Cassie was doing, which gave us great peace of mind. We truly appreciated their kindness, flexibility, and the loving care they gave Cassie.
Stephen and his family took wonderful care of our two pups while we were away on a two week vacation. I really appreciated the frequent photos and updates, which made it clear that our dogs were having a great time and felt at home. They returned from their stay happy and tired from all the time they spent playing in Stephen’s backyard. I know they will be excited to stay with Stephen and his family the next time we go away. 😊
