A Perfect Walk in the Park
I have taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. Family and friends have entrusted me with walking their dogs around the neighborhood or even to venture off on a hike. I have experience with a wide variety of dogs, from yorkies and to as big as my 115 lb chocolate lab. In addition, I have experience working with different temperaments; for example, I have taken a very energetic Australian shepherd hiking and house sat with a big, anxious lab. I have always been passionate about animals from a young age, leading me to volunteer at several animals shelters throughout my life. Currently, I volunteer at the Animal Welfare Association where I walk the dogs, clean, and care for both dogs and cats.

Schedule
I currently work full-time - about 38 hours. My availability is mostly on weekends and weeknights. I am able to board every day, but if I go into the office, I have a crate and two barrier to block off certain rooms when away for their safety. I am also open to early morning walks before I go to work.

Safety, trust & environment
I can easily crate a dog if needed. I also have baby gates that block my kitchen off, and another one to block upstairs access. I have two cats, but an upstairs that I can block off and keep them in a room if not cat friendly. I also have a small fenced-in courtyard for dogs to use. For my own security, I have cameras that help me monitor the front and back of my townhouse, and this includes being able to monitor the courtyard. If permissible by the owner, I also have a car that I can pick up or take dogs out on an adventure.

A typical day
Undoubtedly, I will be playing with your pet as much as they will let me. I love nature walks with a furry friend, whether that is hiking in local parks for your dog to smell up a storm or along the community bike paths for a more leisurely stroll. Oh and cannot forget, I am known for belly rubs that will leave your dog in bliss.
