“Annette and Martin were perfect. Scrappy felt so comfortable in their house during the meet & greet that he just laid down and snoozed while we chatted. Scrappy instantly liked them both and even bared his tummy to Martin for lots of petting. The daily photos and videos in their Facebook page was the best antidote to ease my mind. It was nice to see the dogs playing around their huge backyard. It was also nice to see that the dogs were allowed free range to most of their house. I highly recommend them!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes for friends and neighbors, but I also have volunteer as a Day Adventurer at ACCT. This has given me invaluable experience with diverse temperaments and leash-handling for dogs of all sizes. I grew up with dogs, but don’t currently have one of my own. Whether your dog requires a strict crate schedule, specific walk times, or high-energy exercise, I am happy to do whatever they need to feel safe and enjoy their time while your away. Availability: I recently ended employment at Penn as a Project Manger in June and currently enjoying summer- working from home on applications so I am ideally suited for dogs who enjoy a morning and evening "adventure" with a calm midday nap! My apartment is adjacent to park and SRT. I currently work full time as a research project manager at Penn M-F 9-5 with occasional WFH. I am free weekends for adventures with your pup. My apartment is neat and your dog can be free to roam or if has a certain crate schedule happy to follow. Right outside my apartment is a park with lots of green space and close to schuylkill river trail.

I had such a great experience leaving my dog, Alfie, with Jami & Brian this summer! Alfie has some separation anxiety and behavioral quirks, so finding the right sitter can sometimes be challenging, but Jami & Brian were incredibly understanding, accommodating, and welcoming. They provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. It’s clear that they’re experienced, attentive to specific needs, and genuinely care about the dogs they look after. They provided Alfie with a safe and comfortable environment and kept me updated with photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Alfie was clearly well cared for, felt safe and relaxed, and had a great time! If I could give Madi 100 stars, I absolutely would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough. Finding someone I truly trust to care for Bruno has always been extremely difficult. Bruno is not an easy dog to watch, and to put it nicely, he definitely does NOT like most people! 😂 He has his own personality, his own quirks, and he takes his time deciding who he is going to trust. Because of that, leaving him with someone for five days was a really big deal for me. Then we found Madi, and I honestly could not have asked for a better person to care for him. Madi is one of the sweetest, kindest, most patient and loving people. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand Bruno instead of expecting Bruno to adjust to her. She respected his personality, gave him the space and patience he needed, and treated him like he was her own dog. That meant more to me than I can possibly explain. She kept me updated, made me feel completely comfortable while I was away, and most importantly, I could tell that Bruno was safe, happy and genuinely cared for. As someone who worries about leaving him because I know he can be challenging, having that peace of mind was priceless. What really says everything is that Bruno liked her! If you know Bruno, you know that is probably the biggest compliment anyone could receive. 😂 He doesn't hand out his approval easily! You can tell Madi genuinely loves animals and isn't just "watching a dog." She puts her heart into caring for them. She was patient with Bruno's quirks, loving toward him, and never made me feel like he was difficult or a burden. She accepted him exactly as he is, and that is something I will always appreciate. I came home feeling like I had finally found someone I can trust with my boy, and that is such a huge relief. I would recommend Madi a million times over to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog with kindness, patience, love and compassion. Madi, thank you for taking such amazing care of Bruno and for loving my grumpy, misunderstood boy just the way he is. ❤️ You have no idea how much it means to me to finally have someone I feel completely comfortable leaving him with. We booked boarding with Melissa last minute, and She was able to accommodate us. Denise kept our Duke for just over a week while we were away on vacation. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous but Denise walked me through the whole process. She told me all about the process as she’s a pro and made time to meet Duke before our trip. While we were on our trip we got CONSTANT updates and immediate responses when reaching out to check on Duke. She paid close attention to his needs and made sure she immediately expressed any concerns she had with him which I very much appreciated. I wholeheartedly feel like my dog was cared for exactly how she cares for her own dog and I will say that is truly invaluable! I had to leave my pup for an extended stay with Hali and her family. I cannot say enough positives about the stay. Josie was in love with the kids and was pampered her entire stay. Hali handled an ER like Josie was her own pup. It means so much to know you have someone you can rely on when you have to go out of town. Highly recommend.
