My schedule allows me to give your family members all the time and attention they could ask for in my home. I never want your furry family to feel like they aren't comfortable and I will engage with them as much or as little as they would like while giving them the space they need if they choose.

I have a fully fenced in yard, but no one is out in the yard unattended. I also have the ability to completely separate dogs with separate exits/entrances. All dogs are able to go on couches and dog beds throughout the house and if they need their own space, I have that capability as well. The separated room has it's own tv, couch and is where I spend most of my day working. If your pup(s) is friendly, they are able to keep us company throughout the house. Smoke-free home.

A typical day
I offer a ton of enrichment, whether it's toys, long lasting treats from home, some good music and cuddles, a walk or just some relaxing chill time in the sun. I'm pretty good about speaking "dog" and do my level best to give them what they need.

My love for dogs is endless. I've been involved in dog rescue for over 12 years. The fun dogs, the shy dogs, the dogs with no direction and the perfect dogs, dogs of all ages. A very quiet home with playtime if they want it or quiet time that they need. I provide lots of enrichment and a full secure yard where they can run and play, or just sun bathe. I have been dog sitting for years and I've also been a part of a dog rescue where I've seen everything. Each one of our family members deserves love and respect and a little extra when their family is on vacation. It should be a relaxing time for our canine family too! I pride myself on the reaction of my visitors when they come back over and over!!!

Been using April to dog-sit for the last 3 years. Whether it’s a week-long family vacation or a long weekend for sports, I always know my two dogs are very well taken care of. They have their own crate and room, she gives any meds/supplements needed, and makes sure they get plenty of play time. Both my large-breed dogs (pit bull and lab mix) absolutely LOVE going to her house. She treats and loves them like her own, sends me daily picture updates, and keeps me informed on their daily routines. I truly couldn’t recommend April more!
