Kara's Dog Boarding. A Play-cation!
I’ve been taking care of dogs for 12 years, and pet sitting for 7. I’m Located on 1st avenue in Haddon Heights on the edge of Haddonfield. It’s a great neighborhood for walking pets. The house is a single family home with lots of room to run around. It is two levels so the dog should be ok with stairs (however I am happy to carry them up and down if needed). There's also great windows for dogs who like watching the world go by. I work from home so I’m almost always around for your dog. We'd go on several walks a day in the neighborhood so your pet can get lots of exercise. I will always send photos and updates while you're away. My husband and I have a 12 year old yorkie named Kaluah. She is old and mostly keeps to herself, but gets along fine with other dogs. She can be kept away from your dog if they're not the most dog-friendly. She is not food or toy aggressive at all. Please provide your own food and whatever bed your dog would be most comfortable sleeping on. If your dog needs a crate while we are out of the house please provide your own. I work from home full time, so I am readily available to care for your dog, feed them, let them out, take them for walks, etc. throughout the day. I will always make sure your pet is on a leash when we are outside or walking in the neighborhood. Our back yard does not have a fence yet, but is tree lined so your dog can go to the bathroom without a lot of distractions

Kara treats our pup amazingly every time he stays with them. She is very communicative and took our dog to the dog park several times.
Kara and her husband have always treated Asher like their own. I appreciate the love and care they give him. I highly recommend them and will always be a frequent customer.

Kara and her husband were amazing. I boarded my dog for one week and when I picked him up I could tell he didn’t want to leave - even after being bribed with a pup cup! If I could give 6 stars I would - highly recommend.
Kara is beyond accommodating and kept me up to date on every little thing with my two nervous pups. She’s friendly, organized, knows what she’s doing, and spends tons of quality time with the fur kids. We’ll definitely use her again!

A typical day
I love to take long walks around the nieghborhood, take the dogs for a hike or to Timber Creek dog park. If it’s on a weekend I love to go out hiking in Wissahickon park.
