I grew up in a dog loving family (one of my sisters is a veterinarian) and have raised and trained dogs since I was a young pup myself. I brought my own dog with me when my spouse and I started our family and volunteered with my kids at an animal shelter before we got a family dog. I'm recently retired, the kids are all on their own, and the pets are all gone. We're still active and travel a bit. Still not quite ready for another dog of our own, so I'm happy to be able to care for and have the company of others' pets in the meantime (which we've been doing for friends and family for the last few years).

Ritch put us at ease with his knowledge of dogs and comfort with Levi - who was well cared for, given walks and a lot of attention during his stay. Ritch was communicative with us throughout the weekend. Would definitely book again with Ritch. Thank you.
Ritch took great care of our dog for a long weekend away! We appreciated having a safe and comforting place for our dog to stay while we were out of town.
Rich was very accommodating and took great care of Bodhi. He sent photos and gave him plenty of exercise to keep our boy happy. It was comforting to know he was in very capable hands while we were away. 😊
We would like to book with Ritch again in future, he has the knowledge and liking for dogs that shows in his overall approach to our boarding experience with Dunkin.

Schedule
While I remain pretty active with interests and hobbies, I tend toward being a home bodiy. When we aren't travelling, other than a round or two of golf a week, I'm rarely away from home for more than an hour or two. I know the importance of maintaining a routine and will work with you to make sure that is the case for your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a nice quiet neighborhood with very little traffic and loads of great walking paths and trails. I have raised, trained, and cared for a variety of dogs over the years including a Black Russian Terrier and a 120 pound Rottweiler, but also small and medium size dogs. Beyond feeding, walking, playing, and other exercise, I am always willing to assist with and reinforce training as required (there are no bad dogs...). I also enjoy just hanging out with dogs.
A typical day
While the routine will be based on each pet's needs, there are some nice paths around the nearby lakes which are ideal for long walks. We also have a nice mostly fenced back yard for outdoor play. There is also a great dog park nearby for running free and social play.
