What sets me apart is that pet care is part of my daily life. I’m home full-time, attentive, and I run a calm, structured home environment where dogs get supervision, routine, outdoor breaks, playtime, meals, rest, and patience. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, and dogs who need a little extra time to settle in. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, feeding routines, bathroom habits, safety, and communication with owners. My goal is simple: help every dog feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving their family peace of mind.

Hendry went above and beyond with my 2 boxers. He sent me updates on how they were adjusting and pictures on most days. He allowed them to spend time with his family and play with Nova, his dog. This was mine and my dogs first time away from each other and Hendry made sure they felt safe and let them open up slowly which I so appreciated. Hendry and his wife are very caring and genuinely love dogs. I was able to relax on vacation and I appreciate Hendry and his family for this. Cannot say enough positive things about the excellent care oakland and olive received. They will be be staying with Hendry again in the future!! Thanks again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hendry! I was honestly so happy with the entire experience. From the moment I dropped Charlie off, I knew he was in great hands. Hendry was incredibly responsive and kept me updated with the most beautiful photos and messages throughout Charlie’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I arrived to pick Charlie up, they were already waiting for me at the door. It truly felt like VIP service from start to finish. His home is on a quiet street, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. Charlie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. I would recommend Hendry to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and professional. 10/10 experience—I will absolutely be booking with him again!
Our dogs had an amazing time with Hendry! He was very patient with our more nervous pup, even when the super hot weather made it all the more challenging to get some of his energy out — Hendry was patient, kind, and sent updates every step of the way. Both dogs settled in well, and that’s a testament to Hendry’s patience and care for them. We would absolutely rebook in the future!

Schedule
I’m home full-time, so pet care is part of my daily routine every day. Dogs in my care get consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, outdoor time, meals, play, rest, and calm indoor downtime throughout the day. I offer care 7 days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays when available. My schedule is built around the dogs’ routines so each pup can settle in comfortably and feel secure while they’re here.

My goal is to keep the environment peaceful, safe, and comfortable so every pup feels secure while they’re here.

A typical day here has a balance of outdoor time, light play, structure, rest, and calm supervision. Dogs get regular potty breaks, time in our fenced yard, meals on their normal schedule, and plenty of indoor downtime. Activities depend on each dog’s personality, age, energy level, and comfort. Some dogs enjoy social time, tug-of-war, fetch, or playtime in the yard. Others prefer sniffing around, sunbathing, relaxing inside, or settling in a quiet spot. I keep the day consistent so dogs feel safe and don’t become overstimulated. My goal is for every pup to enjoy their stay, feel comfortable, and go home happy.
