About: Hello neighbors, human and furry! My experience in pet care includes lovingly caring for a dog and cat of my own as well as over a year of work in a vet hospital as a kennel technician. There, I acquired relevant skills such as keeping dogs clean, fed, walked, and, most importantly, safe. I can accommodate senior and special needs dogs when given detailed instructions and I have experience giving oral medication and injections. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I can't wait to walk and/or stop in to check on yours while you're away! About: My 18 years of experience as a pet owner and volunteer has taught me that patience is the most important virtue to possess when working to gain the trust of an animal. Since I was a child, I have been practicing this in order to build trust with every animal I have the opportunity to meet. My body decided to force me into an early retirement of sorts, so now I dedicate my free time to my stress relieving passions like fishing and spending time with animals. The fact that I get to make some extra money while caring for pets is really just an added bonus! Regarding safety, my cats are all indoors, except one who occasionally walks on a leash, and I keep up with their vaccine schedule promptly. As for trust and environment, I am always happy to learn each animal's individual personality and quirks so that I may best adapt to their needs.
