“Ellen is an outstanding petsitter. Her general care of my babies was wonderful, but she went above and beyond for all three. She was communicative, asked appropriate questions about their behavior, meds, wants, and needs. She handled meds and different feeding needs easily. Ellen was also ever so kind when I realized I had messed up my booking by an entire day and extended the stay for me (time zones 🙄). Most importantly: for the first time in my 20 years of travel, I had an animal fall ill (no fault of Ellen’s, he’s a cat with herpes that flared up in his little eye). She carefully monitored the situation and when his symptoms worsened a bit, she took him in for evaluation at my preferred vet. I know it must have been exhausting for her, but she genuinely handled this situation like he was her own cat. This could have been an immensely stressful situation for us both, but Ellen handled it with such compassion and kindness that I felt completely confident and experienced no distress. Given how strongly I love my pets, and how I worry for them, this was a huge surprise and relief for me.”

He was very responsive leading up to and during the visit, and also made the time to meet us in person before the visit so he could get to know our dog. When we returned from our trip or Apartment was spotless, and he even washed our sheets for us, which was an unexpected gesture and very much appreciated after a long drive. We will 100% book him again in the future.”

About: I have worked with all kinds of animals throughout my life, learning to train cats and dogs on my own. I’m also familiar with exotic pets such as pythons and bearded dragons. I can comfortably administer different kinds of medications to most animals, including oral liquids and pills, sub-Q and IM injections, and topicals. Currently I am available as a full-time pet sitter for house-stays and drop-ins. I often sit for multiple houses at once, doing house-stays for one client and drop-ins for 1-3 others depending on the services and times needed per client. When I meet an animal for the first time, my priority is gaining their trust. I spend time casually observing so I can take note of their personality and physical forms of communication, but I don’t get too close or move too quickly until I’ve given the animal a chance to take me in as well. Once trust is established, we can move on to wearing leashes and harness, medication routines, playing, etc.

“What can I say? I was nervous and worried to leave my hobby farm for a work trip. I made instruction sheets, took pictures, portioned food and stressed when I got into my UBER. Anthony walked into the home and respected my dogs, was patient with them, gave them the attention they needed and in the time they were ready for it, sent me pictures, gave me updates, asked the right questions, looked after the chickens, goats, turkey, and ducks. He made a stressful trip so much better by a simple message. When I arrived home, I had six tired pups, house was clean, Anthony greeted us with a smile and lots of stories. Anthony went above and beyond. He exceeded my expectations and he embraced the property and fur/feathered babies like they were his. I will always ask him first before looking for anyone else. Thank you Anthony for caring about my family as much as you did. We will see you soon. To all you folks out there needing a sitter/walker, I come first for reservations (LOL) and if he has a time slot for you…… take it. He is one of a kind.”

About: I have been in a household with animals all of my life. When I was 18 we had a Rottweiler named Max who was compassionate and over protective; at 22 I had a red-nose Pit-bull who was spoiled rotten and playful and enjoyed being around my son. We had him for 15 years, and currently I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Duke who is smart, calm, and lovable. Over the years, I grown to love each animal individually and learn their mannerisms to help me care for them the best way possible. My dogs are apart of family, and we pride ourselves in providing a home-like atmosphere for them. I currently work full-time for a school organization. My summers are relaxed and filled with plenty of leisurely time. I am free all afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I start my work day at 9 am, but I’m up as early as 6am. I have secured a high bar fenced with outside playhouse with a mat for my dog to lay. I have several types of collars to help me walk or secure my dog when he is outside the house. I am quick learner and now how to adjust to any pet owners methods and house setups for their pet.
