About: I have worked with all kinds of animals throughout my life, learning to train cats and dogs on my own. I’m also familiar with exotic pets such as pythons and bearded dragons. I can comfortably administer different kinds of medications to most animals, including oral liquids and pills, sub-Q and IM injections, and topicals. Currently I am available as a full-time pet sitter for house-stays and drop-ins. I often sit for multiple houses at once, doing house-stays for one client and drop-ins for 1-3 others depending on the services and times needed per client. When I meet an animal for the first time, my priority is gaining their trust. I spend time casually observing so I can take note of their personality and physical forms of communication, but I don’t get too close or move too quickly until I’ve given the animal a chance to take me in as well. Once trust is established, we can move on to wearing leashes and harness, medication routines, playing, etc.

Ellen was wonderful with my senior dog, Reuben! He has quite a few quirks and can be a little particular, so I really appreciated how patient, attentive, and caring she was with him. She took the time to understand his routine and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for while I was out of the country. Lauren was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of Lizzie and Archie. Lizzie has an ear infection and was testy but Lauren just stayed the course and Lizzie warmed up by the end of the day. Lauren even gave her her medicine. She’s a responsible young woman and I will definitely call on her again.
This is my second time using Erin and she continues to do a great job. We get tons of amazing photos of our pups relaxed and happy and it makes our trips much more enjoyable knowing they're in good hands. Darina was absolutely wonderful! She stayed with Petunia for multiple nights and gave us such peace of mind while we were away. My biggest priority was knowing that Petunia was safe, happy, and well cared for, and Darina went above and beyond. She sent two incredibly detailed check-ins every day with plenty of pictures, kept our very active and energetic pup entertained, and made sure she got long walks to match her energy. She also watered our plants and even helped with our laundry, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We came home to a happy dog and a well-cared-for home. Jess is wonderful! Not only did she take great care of our boys, she went above and beyond to clean the house before she left - even washing the bathmat and cleaning the toilet.
