About: Hi my name is Sarah and I’m *almost* as hyper as your dog 🤣🩷 I’ve taken care of dogs professionally on and off for ten years, am confident w both dog sitting and shorter walks/check-ins, and have nearly full availability at this time. I am a runner, so can comfortably provide services that will tire out even the most hyper of dogs! I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medication needs. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, and I’ll do my darndest to make sure your pup has the best walk/day/*insert period of time here* EVER! 💞💞 I’m currently doing flexible remote work, so I have lots of availability to care for your pet! I am open to multi-day bookings and very flexible with longer term care as well as shorter check-ins and walks 🩷 I have essentially full availability on Fridays and weekends; the only time I am not available is 6-10pm on weekdays, as I’m currently in school for massage therapy :) Anything outside of that window is fair game! I take a very attentive and energetic approach, making sure to put safety first in everything. I absolutely love dogs and am very eager to explore the city and get moving myself, so I see dog-walking and pet sitting as something I get just as much out of as you and your pet! I do not currently have any pets in my home, so would be open to boarding in the future at my place in Fishtown (granted, probably a better idea for smaller dogs and cats, as my apartment isn’t ginormous).

About: Aside from growing up with a dog and always around friends and family members' pets, I have also been a pet-sitter for family and neighbors since I was 15. This included walking and feeding dogs and feeding and playing with indoor and outdoor cats. I also have experience with cat-sitting for pets with special diets. I am a pet-lover through and through, and two years ago, I finally adopted my two cats, Olive and Martin. It has been a blast to care for them and watch them grow while I work from home. My cat Olive is on a special diet, making me comfortable caring for cats with different dietary needs. I am also very comfortable with providing cats medicine, as I've had to do that with my pets at times. As I previously mentioned, I work from home and am looking to help out folks by taking good care of your pets when you need it. I work from home, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available on weekdays in the early mornings, over lunch, and in the evening. I also completely available on weekends. I am really looking forward to spending my free time with more pets! I first ensure that I have all the necessary information needed to appropriately care for your pet. When visiting your home, I always ensure that I make the pet as comfortable with a new person as possible. If your pet is comfortable, I always play with your pets and give them lots of pets. Most importantly, I ensure that they are fed, have water, and go outside/have a clean litter box. Lastly, I will communicate my visits with you and send pictures of your pets!

I am comfortable with basic training reinforcement and am highly attentive to behavioral cues, ensuring your pet feels understood and secure in my care. Pet care is a part of my daily life. I work from home, which means your pet will rarely be left alone. I offer a "presence-heavy" environment where your dog can nap at our feet while I work or enjoy frequent play breaks in between meetings. Because I am available all week, including weekends, I can provide a consistent routine. Safety is my priority. In my home, I maintain a "paws-on-the-ground" policy, ensuring the environment is pet-proofed and free of hazards. When walking or visiting your home, I am hyper-vigilant about leash safety and surroundings. I believe in clear communication and will provide you with frequent photo and text updates so you never have to wonder how they are doing.
