We had lots of messages and photos (Maple even helped with their Ikea furniture one day, smart dog!) She wasn't drinking enough water and they made sure she stayed hydrated by giving her stock and even using a syringe for a day or so to help. When I picked her up she was super excited to see me, but (and this is HUGE) she kept going back to them for scratches and to say hello. This never happens even to people that Maple knows well. About: I’ve taken care of lots of different kinds of animals since I was a teenager. I worked at a zoo in England for a summer when I was a bit younger and from then, I grew a genuine passion for animals. I am currently working from home, so I will be able to provide lots of attention to your dog. I also walk routinely in the morning, evening, and anytime in between. I do not have any pets that live with me so it will just be myself and your dog. I will usually only have 1 dog at a time unless the dogs already know each other or live together.

About: I’ve had multiple pets all my life, and have been compassionately caring for friends’, family’s, and for-hire for 11 years! I currently have a sweet 1 year old Pyrenees mix (my first as primary owner!) who LOVES other dogs and will keep your pet well entertained. About: I’ve been around animals basically my entire life. I just moved here from Key West, where I was the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Florida Keys SPCA. I occasionally have weekend plans, but your pet will always be my top priority and I plan around them, not the other way around. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding schedules, medication times, and any specific instructions exactly as the owner lays them out. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, so if something seems off with appetite, energy, bathroom habits- etc, I’ll notice it early and communicate right away.
