About: Hi! I’m new to Rover but definitely not new to caring for dogs. I grew up with dogs and now have a 3-year-old dachshund named Lincoln, who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting new pups. About: I’ve been around animals basically my entire life. I just moved here from Key West, where I was the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Florida Keys SPCA. During that time I got deeply involved in fostering and rehabilitating animals to get them adoption-ready, so there isn’t much I haven’t seen. Cats are my biggest area of expertise, but I’m just as good with dogs. I currently live with four cats of my own: two seniors, one who’s terrified of everything, and one with a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits in easily. For overnight stays, I’d set up my work area at your place and hang out with your pets throughout the day. I’d just need to head back to my house once a day to check on my own animals. I’m a homebody by nature, so I’m around most of the time. I occasionally have weekend plans, but your pet will always be my top priority and I plan around them, not the other way around. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding schedules, medication times, and any specific instructions exactly as the owner lays them out. About: Being the oldest, my siblings and pets were always my responsibility. Now that I’m grown I don’t have any kids however I have 5 dogs. I love the fur babies. People think I’m crazy for loving dogs so much. I think they’re crazy for not understanding. I do media coverage for events so my schedule is super flexible as the events aren’t every day. I shoot for a few hours then I have the rest of the day free. I treat pets and property with utmost respect and care. I don’t just do what I’m being paid to do. If something needs to be done I’ll do it as long as it’s approved. If your dog went to the bathroom, I’ll clean it up. Things like that.

About: My family owned medium to large dogs growing up, so I am well experienced with handling the day to day needs of caring for different types of dogs. Since then, I often dog sit for my two friends who have husky mixes, and have dog sat for parents of friends and co-workers as well. My cousin is a professional dog trainer, and my mother is a self proclaimed "dog whisperer", so I have picked up several tips in the trade over the years as well. I am a professional real estate agent, so my schedule is very flexible. I own the brokerage, so I am often in office. However, no one else comes in often, so I bring dogs I pet sit to work all the time. I have a dog bed and dog toys in my home. If my client lets their dog on the couch and bed, I will do so as well. If not, I am good about keeping them off of furniture. I have a nice sized 2 bedroom condo for them to roam around, but will take them for several walks. I do not keep dog food, bowls, or treats in the house, so those would need to be provided by the owner.
