“We booked Brielle to do daily check ins on our cat, Roxy, while away on our wedding and honeymoon. Working with Brielle was easy and stress free. Brielle gave us daily updates that made us feel confident and comfortable that Roxy was well cared for while we were away! Roxy who is shy at first warmed up to Brielle quickly again making us feel good. We would recommend Brielle and will book again in the future!”

About: Currently, I'm a teacher who finds joy in getting to pet sit! Working with high school students is great, but I'm more excited to get to take care of your dog!! (Shh! Don't tell my students I said that...) Anyone who knows me, knows I'm the type to wave and say hi to every dog I pass on the street and every cat I see in a window! :-) I'm experienced with both cat and dog care, comfortable with various breeds, personalities, and ages. Throughout high school and college, I often volunteered to watch friends' and families' dogs/cats when they went away on vacation. Additionally, I've been pet sitting for neighbors ever since I started my teaching career a few years ago. I've always loved getting to step in and keep the pets cared for and entertained, while their owner was somewhere else. Overall, I can provide dependable and enthusiastic pet sitting, ensuring your beloved pets are happy and safe while you're away. I am available to provide your pet with love and attention, whether that be check ins, maintenance/feeding, and/or walks and exercise. I have weekday and weekend availability. With my teaching schedule, I am available for early morning, as well as early afternoon - late evening during the week. My weekends are very flexible. I am happy to work with your specific schedule and unique needs! Also, I often have break periods or holiday days off from school, which gives me additional availability, especially during peak times when you may have travel plans. School year availability Monday-Friday: before 7:30am and after 2:30pm. If I were to I visit your home to care for your pet or take them on walks, I would make sure to follow all instructions carefully, in order to keep a safe, comfortable environment and maintain your pet’s routine. I aim to stay attentive to your pet’s needs, keeping them secure during walks, offering attention and love to keep them happy, and communicating clearly with you throughout. Pets are our best friends, so I will treat your pet as such!
“Sydney was great with my cat. She did everything I had asked, and my cat clearly liked her a lot. Sydney even went the extra mile to clean her litter box out and was extremely flexible when my travel plans changed. Will definitely book again!”

About: I am a recent graduate from Swarthmore College. I just moved to Philadelphia and working hybrid so it gives me a lot of time to walk dogs. Back at Swarthmore I started a dog walking business during my 4 years and would love to continue walking dogs here! I have work from 9:30-4pm in Midtown so I’m available before and after. I also am hybrid so multiple days a week I’ll be working from home and more flexibility. Of course if I were to be in your house due to pet sitting I would make sure to leave the house exactly as it was when I arrived. I’ve had dogs all my life and know the care that they need and deserve. I’ve also taken care of dogs in their own houses and feel comfortable making a safe environment for them and make sure they don’t miss their owners too much!
About: I was very fortunate to grow up around an abundance of pets- be it dogs, cats, birds, rodents, or even reptiles. Because of this, I have years of animal handling experience of all kinds, and have even raised puppies. I am an avid walker averaging around 15 miles a day for fun, so if your little guy needs walking, I would love to help out. I will be working a full-time in-person job until July 31st, but am available weekends and evenings. Starting in August, I will be working remote which will allow me a lot more flexibility with watching your baby! Your home is your rules, and we will abide by it. That means if there are no animals allowed on the furniture, we will do just that. I can provide walking, litter box cleaning, feeding, and I can play with your animals. If more is needed, we can absolutely talk about that and I would love to help!
“Our cat had never been alone for extended time before. Mary was very kind, spending time with him to play and make sure that he was comfortable with her. She was reliable and tool of his needs and kept us updating with Oreo's well being, which made us feel at ease while away.”

“Third time I’ve had Lauren watch my cat and she’s wonderful! She goes above and beyond, is communicative, caring and trustworthy. If this is your first time using rover and you’re nervous, don’t be with Lauren—she’s great!”

About: Currently, in our family, we have a senior dog, Edie. Edie was a rescue and we've had her since she was four, she's now twelve She is well attended to, from receiving her daily medications, to her regular vet visits. Edie is my constant companion. She is usually by my side all day long. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time available to watch and care for your K9. I am available with advanced notice. No longer inconvenienced by a work schedule. I am working on several projects for my model railroad club at home since I've retired. Our dog, Edie is well taken care of in our home. We make sure Edie is fed ever morning and receives her daily medications. She is taken to her regular vet visits. Since Edie is an older dog, she doesn't go for walks as often in the summertime but gets regular backyard visits. She does likes to sunbathe. When she's up to it, we wrestle and play rope tug from time to time. Edie is pretty much by my side all day long. You know you're pet the best, I will follow your directions, while you dog is in my care.

“Daniel was great with our senior cat who is a little quirky and needs meds twice per day. He was communicative, responsive, and sent plenty of photos. Would highly recommend for any pet care needs!”

“Pat was wonderful with Oliver! It’s our first time using Rover, and we were very impressed with the amount of time and attention that Pat gave to Oliver over the week.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for both puppies and handicapped/elderly dogs. My own dog is a tripod who requires additional medications and physical accommodations, so I will bring this experience to my work. I currently work 8-4 Tuesday through Saturday. I am available for pet care outside of those hours, including early mornings and late evenings. I am open to navigating other possibilities as well! I am glad to either provide brief “pop-in” care or long in-home care, depending on what best suits the animal and clients. We can custom create a service that best suits you! I work and do my PhD program remotely, and am able to accomplish these responsibilities from anywhere - including your home! If you would like someone to be with your pet while you are gone, I am your human! I have owned two dogs - from puppyhood through old age - and have lived with a multitude of cats, including long cat sitting stays at loved ones' homes. As of recently, I do not have any more pets in my own home - so I am looking to fill the service that I so often was grateful for receiving from others. Both to fill the void in my own life, and to repay the favor! I am available for drop in visits, walks, and sitting in your home. However, I do not board in my own home.

“Madeline is amazing and very compassionate! Took great care of my senior pups. My one senior really can’t leave the house anymore so we did drop in visits. Madeline put us at ease by sending updates and photos every time she checked in. Definitely will use her again! I’ve used Rover twice before and she is the best!”

“Kaydee took extra good care of my very senior boy who was in a splint/cast and required some additional gear and handling before going out. She left my place spotless, had great communication, and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always grown up around cats and dogs; mostly tortoise shell cats, a few adopted strays, and a husky respectively. Most recently I’ve taken care of pit bulls, a malinois, two sibling Jack Russel’s, westies, and an elderly doberman and corgi; to name a few. I always try to keep a calm demeanor, even with high energy dogs. I’ve learned this is paramount when faced with a dog or cat that might have some trust issues or is just generally nervous. Under no circumstance have I been forceful or aggressive, leaning more towards listening and learning from what the dog’s behavior/body language is trying to convey. I’m available for house-sitting on weekends and most weekdays. I am available for daily walks each day of the week before 5:30pm and after 7pm I try my best to be attentive and to honor outside time, even if it seems evident they are getting a bit bored or restless.
About: I love animals, grew up with two dogs, and now have a rescue cat. I also volunteer at the AWA Adoption Center. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits for any kind of pet. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible. I’m self-employed so my schedule is flexible. I have a car and am willing to travel. I generally feed my own cat twice a day and play with her whenever I have time. For visits in my clients home I follow your feeding directions as to your pet’s feeding schedule, type of food, preferred toys and preferred play.
“Hope dropped in on my two cats while I was away for a week and she was wonderful to work with! She did great with Milo and Bug and was communicative throughout the week.”

About: I grew up with a household full of pets, and have cared for puppies, kittens, adult, and elderly animals. I believe in tailoring the care I provide to each animal’s needs and owner’s preferences. I have a full-time job, and am available most evenings and weekends. I work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so am able to provide walking services during those days. I care for every pet as if it were my own- which includes a little bit of interaction/play time to help each animal build their trust in me.

Ariella was wonderful with our pup Chai! She is quick to respond, was able to help Chai through some nervous energy/excitement from us being gone, and sent us lots of pictures. Chai seemed to enjoy her company. Would recommend, we will definitely be booking her services again!

Jovelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I could immediately tell he was in great hands. She was reliable, communicative, and treated him with so much care and attention. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with him, which gave me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend Jovelle to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker!

Kristin is the absolute best! She cared for my beloved Petey for nine years, and is now a huge help with dogs I foster. I trust her not only as a walker, but as someone who truly gets to know and befriend the pups, with Rover cards that reflect their unique personalities. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Amazing! I have two very high-demand dogs—one senior dog with all the extra needs that come with age, and an adolescent with tons of energy and a serious love of mischief. Lee does an incredible job with both of them. They’re great at communicating with me about anything that comes up and are wonderful at handling all the “extras” that come with a senior dog and a young dog who is still learning. I feel completely confident knowing they’re in Lee’s care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
