“Britney checked in on our dog, who gets a little too excited when people visit, and she did great! She let her outside and then did whatever our dog wanted to do (even if it was to just get pets and plug tug of war). She updated us about the visit promptly. Will ask Britney to help us again in the future!”

“Nicole was fantastic with our two cats, who required a lot of love and attention while we were out of town. She always went above and beyond which was extremely helpful and appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“Sophia was great with the pets. She contacted me with any questions/concerns she had which I appreciated. Responsive with texts and spent time with my fur babies. Thank you Sophia!”

“Ellen was fantastic with Clover. She came to do a “Meet and Greet” and then we walked Clover to the park. Clover immediately took to Ellen, and I would not hesitate to have her watch Clover again. I would highly recommend!”

I have over 8 years of hands-on pet sitting experience and have loved and cared for dogs and cats of every size, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant breeds, and every age, puppies, kittens to seniors. I treat every pet like they were my own. Currently, I am studying part-time for my real estate license, which means my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have plenty of open windows during the day to dedicate entirely to walking, playing with, and feeding your pets. Because my studies keep me local, you can count on me to be punctual, communicative, and completely focused on your pets’ safety and happiness. When it comes to at home care safety and fun are key. I set all my pets up for success. I keep a close eye on them and stop potentially dangerous or destructive situations before they happen. About: I’ve been pet-sitting since I was 15. I’ve dealt with a range of task when it comes to pets, and have cared for animals big to small and young to old. I am extremely comfortable with pets and even have a dog and cat of my own! Since I have pets of my own, I frequently find myself walking my dog or spending one on one time with my cat. Pet care is a natural part of my day to day life! I love to give pets and make a pet feel cared for and safe. A calm environment is sometimes all an animal needs to feel loved!
About: I've grown up with pets of all kinds and have loved them all. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and have volunteered at animal shelters to walk dogs. I am great with animals and have never not had a pet in my life. I take care of animals at home now, so I know that it can be a 24 hour job at times. I am flexible with my hours and have plenty of free time. If I am walking a dog I will bring a poop bag and water for them to drink, I will also walk them however far the owner is comfortable with. At home, I know that animals can get excited so I will remain calm and not scare/excite them too much.
“Haleigh was so awesome in Cari g for ALL 3 of my babies! She is a god send. I have never used this app before and was skeptical at first but she eased all of my worries and concerns. She checked in with me multiple times and sent me videos and pics of my babies and took care of them as if they were her own. Will definitely be a returning customer and recommend her without any hesitation! Thanks again Haleigh🫶🏻🥰”

About: I’m a dog person through and through! Due to busy kid’s schedules we can’t have one full time so here I am! I’d love to help with your dog and get my pet fix! 😊🩷 I adore my sister’s 2 crazy Terrier mixes (pictured in photo) and I jump at the chance to hang with them. I live in a super safe, dog friendly neighborhood in the Burbs and I have 3 amazing dog obsessed Stepboys (ages 10,14, & 16) that would be here on Saturdays and Sundays. They love having the dogs here and give them SO much attention! Your dog will be so spoiled (sorry not sorry!😆) Now that sports are slowing down I have more availability to help with your beloved pets so you can travel! Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so dogs only for me for boarding. I can do drop ins for cats tho! PLEASE provide a crate! There may be a short period of time that we won’t be there and we don’t want your doggie chewing anything and getting hurt! Also if your dog requires frequent potty breaks or pee pads we may not be the best fit for their stay. Thank you! I do work full time but I come home on my lunch break if needed for potty breaks if my partner isn’t home yet. He gets home all hours of the day so he does help with the doggies! I think he might be a bigger dog lover than I am! 😃🐶And Fridays I only work a half day I’d love to build a steady clientele and be someone’s go-to dog person! I’m trustworthy, loving, reliable, and responsible. Your dog will get walked, played with, and definitely cuddled! Overnight stays would be in my home but I will come to yours for a drop in visit and stay for a little bit too!

Kelsey put my mind at easy while out of town for a week. I booked Kelsey for daily drop-in visits for my cat and senior dog and it was evident that they both warmed up to her very quickly. She administered medication and provided detailed updates. I was able to have a stress free trip and will be booking with her again.

Gillian provided top-notch care for my four dogs, and I'm so thankful to have found her. After meeting the dogs, she put my mind at ease, and the daily photos she sent were a lovely surprise. When we returned home, the dogs were happy and relaxed, a testament to Gillian's excellent care. We'll be sure to book her again for our next trip - she's definitely earned our trust!
Jessenya was extremely responsive and prompt with her communication before during and after visits. This was our first time using rover and she made it so much easier leaving our pups behind for such a long time. The photos are great and you can tell she really engaged and spent time with the dogs! Will be asking for her help again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Brooklawn with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
