With a cat who is diabetic and requires twice-daily insulin shots at fairly evenly spaced intervals, I have found it extremely difficult to find someone local who is both willing and able to take on the job. Throw in a couple other indoor cats AND a couple semi-feral community cats in the backyard, and it becomes even harder to find a responsible person willing to take the assignment. Even though she doesn't exactly live next door (more like 25 minutes away), Megan adjusted her schedule to accommodate our family through the fourth of July and even tended to our garden during a ridiculous heatwave. I was thrilled to find Megan on relatively short notice and am crossing my fingers that she will once again be available to care for our brood the next time we're out of town!”

About: I’ve loved animals from a very young age and have experience with all kinds of pets. I have about 15 years experience working in a very busy specialty veterinary hospital as a vet nurse for their emergency service. So you can trust your pets are getting the best care and I can spot a potential health issue/emergency if something were to arise. Along with my medical background I have a great deal of experience and interest in animal behavior and training. Having worked with my own dogs and worked directly with trainers for my own knowledge. The hospital I worked for was fear free certified, I absolutely carry those gentle and patient techniques over when working with your pets. Taking the time to gain trust is super important! I recently moved back to this area, I went to school in haddon heights. Since moving back my schedule is pretty open so I can focus on taking care of your pets! I have my own car and can come to your house so your pet(s) don’t have to stress in an unfamiliar environment. Alternatively I do offer day boarding in my home which has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to run. Whatever the circumstances, I am available by phone/text always and will happily send updates and pics as often as you’d like so you can enjoy your time away from your pets.

About: I've owned multiple small breeds in my life (mainly Chihuahuas), as well as pet sitting for large breeds like Boxers, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. I regularly take care of my friends cat in their home during vacations, as well as taking care of her medications. About: I have had multiple dogs ever since I was 10 and have never had an issue with any of them. They know they are loved and cared for! Currently I’m between jobs so I have a good and open schedule to care for your animals. I love animals and have a lot of fun playing with them and walking them! We have a fence at my house that allows my dog at home to have a wide open space for playing and exploring. He also receives many bones for good behavior throughout the day.

I am a full time biology teacher who has her weeknights, weekends and summers off to hang with your fur babies 🐾 While I was getting my teaching degree, I worked part time at Petsmart in the pet care department where I gained valuable knowledge for the needs and wants of pets. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog and 3 Torti cats ages 8-11. I have always had dogs and cats growing up of all sizes so no fur baby is too small or too large for some cuddles! I have also had some not so common pets like hamsters, fish (fresh and saltwater), frogs, turtles and even an Eyelash Crested Gecko! Being a teacher I have learned how to be compassionate, caring and unbiased and I carry these traits into my pet services too! All fur babies deserve to be loved and cared for with the utmost respect and compassion. My fur babies mean the world to me so I will always make sure your fur babies are cared for how I would want my fur babies cared for when mom is not around. I believe you can never have too many pictures to capture all of the silliest moments with your “fur”ever family members 🐾 During the school year, Sept - Early June, I can work weeknights after 4 and weekends all day. For the summer months I can work Late June - August any time frame. 🗓️ I am cautious about making sure all doors are locked and fences are locked so no fur babies can make a jailbreak. I am well versed in using different types of harnesses and how to correctly apply them. I always make sure to bring a portable water dish just incase your fur baby needs a drink mid-walk and I make sure to thoroughly clean it between each use. I require to have an emergency contact person in case of an emergency and would like to know what vet/emergency vet you prefer. A meet and greet with you and your fur baby is always the best way to start a fun and safe relationship!
