About: I have taken care of my neighbors dogs for 5+ years. I also have a small dog myself who is thirteen. I have worked with many sizes and breeds of dogs over time and am excited to help! I am currently working part time and taking some college courses. I have a lot of free time to hang out with your little dogs! I have a small dog myself and I know how important safety and care. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own!
About: I’ve always had dogs of all ages and breeds in the family. It is fulfilling giving dogs their best life possible. We will treat your dogs like part of our family. I have a flexible job that allows me to provide care for animals throughout the day. My wife is also extremely involved and we enjoy spending our time around animals. I have a mini golden doodle and am constantly aware of the potential dangers to her. My main goals are to keep your dog comfortable and to not send them home with a vet bill.
“We loved Britney! My boys are high anxiety and can be difficult when we’re not around but she handled everything with no issues and made sure they got their medication when needed. Can’t wait to be able to go away again and have peace of mind our boys will be well taken care of.”

“This was my 2nd time having Donna sit for my two cats while I was on vacation. Donna was great at communicating, sent pictures everyday, and I came home to 2 happy and well fed cats. I would definitely recommend Donna to anyone who needs a reliable sitter!”

About: I have had multiple dogs ever since I was 10 and have never had an issue with any of them. They know they are loved and cared for! Currently I’m between jobs so I have a good and open schedule to care for your animals. I love animals and have a lot of fun playing with them and walking them! We have a fence at my house that allows my dog at home to have a wide open space for playing and exploring. He also receives many bones for good behavior throughout the day.
About: Hey there! I’m Dana, I’m a night owl, film and reality tv lover, I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, listening to music, cooking & spending time with friends and family. I’m a lifelong animal lover (of all animals, even the tiniest bug!) and have been professionally pet sitting for over 10 years. I have experience with all kinds of animals, but am a big softie for large breed dogs. I have two German shepherds and a beagle, but don’t worry- I live with family, so they will be cared for while I’m with your pet! I strongly believe in leaving things better than you found them, which means that your home and pets will receive lots of TLC while I’m with them. I provide around the clock care to keep your pet company throughout the day. Whether you just need a quick drop in and walk or an extended stay, I will be there to give your pet all of the potty breaks, attention, playtime and companionship they need. In your home I will follow your regular rules and routines you have in place for your pets. I find that sticking to your pet’s normal routine keeps them calm and happy when their family members are away.
“She’ll was GREAT. Extremely thorough. My pup ate a dead flower petal while under her care and she was quick to swipe it from him and follow through with my Listed vet and her own to ensure no toxicity. The texted me immediately too. He was all good! She took great pics and detailed report cards. She was flexible with coordinating as well. Would def recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and I have one at the moment. Knowing this, you can probably tell I am well trained for the job and that I love animals. I will play with your energetic pup, or I will cuddle with your lazy seniors! I am home 24/7, allowing me to pay full attention, and I am willing to take your dog for walks as much as needed. There are no cats or children in my home for your dog to worry about, but I do have a dog of my own. I work from home full time :) This allows me to pay close attention to your pup & ensure they have the best, most eventful stay! I have a fenced yard & another dog that your pup can hang out with. My dog sleeps in bed with me, but if putting them in a crate is preferred, I will do so.

About: I've taken care of my own dog since I was 8, I have started working at a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility for over a year now. I have experience providing medication, potty breaks, treats, feeding and other tasks. I have also done at home daycare as well as overnight boarding at dogs homes. I have been around dogs of all behaviors and ages. I'm currently working part-time for other dog families. But I would happy to squeeze your pup in my schedule! I'm available most weekends. I have a fenced yard and my dog sleeps in my bed and is allowed on furniture. However if your dog sleeps in a crate or is not allowed on furniture I can accommodate!
About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00

I usually help my aunt with watching her dog which includes bathroom breaks, staying over night, and hanging out with him during the day. I've also watched him after he had surgery to make sure he didn't mess with the wound. I'm a part time college student and I work during the weekend. I'm mostly free during the week after 11 on Mondays and Wednesdays and 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some Fridays I'm free before 1. I have a fenced yard and a pool with a small dog who loves running around and swimming(our big one passed recently), I give my dog baths, I take her for walks, play with her, feed her, clean her space. When I watch others pets I make sure to clean up if they make a mess, that they go potty before I leave and have a full bowl of food and water depending on how long they will be alone for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendora
Gillian provided top-notch care for my four dogs, and I'm so thankful to have found her. After meeting the dogs, she put my mind at ease, and the daily photos she sent were a lovely surprise. When we returned home, the dogs were happy and relaxed, a testament to Gillian's excellent care. We'll be sure to book her again for our next trip - she's definitely earned our trust!
Nicole is an absolute pleasure to care for my German Shepherd Dog. She’s prompt, thoughtful, very down to earth, and my 2 year old GSD absolutely loves her. Best of all, she handles him extremely well and with care! Couldn’t be happier to have Nicole drop in and care for my (very energetic) Shepherd.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
