About: On a personal level, I have cared for and been family with dogs my entire life. As I got older, I found my current dog who has transformed my love and respect for dogs into something indescribable. After rescuing her at 3 months old, I have trained and raised her into a beautiful and fully-realized working-line dog. I have experience in advanced training of dogs that ranges from day-to-day obedience to scent imprinting and mind puzzles for high-drive/working breeds that require the mental stimulation. Regardless of your dog's personal needs, I will ensure that those needs are met and addressed in a fulfilling and rewarding way that will leave them feeling loved and satisfied. Depending on the week, you can expect to see me available up to five times in a week! I will do weekends and holidays without question. Every pet has their own specific and individualized needs. This knowledge will help me determine what is needed for your pet, such as longer/fast-paced walks to exercise a high-drive breed or a leisurely stroll for the beloved seniors. Drop-Ins will entail evaluating your pet's needs and addressing them accurately and satisfactorily.
About: I have recently been learning different breeds while fostering. It has given me insight to which ones like what and what their needs are on a daily. I work from home so I have some flexibility in my schedule to do stuff throughout the day. I enjoy being able to help animals. I have been fostering on a regular the past year. I enjoy caring for and having the dogs around to keep me company too. They are fun getting to learn the different breeds.

“Abby was absolutely wonderful! I was in a pinch and needed someone to come over and check on my dog the same day. I blindly reached out to her, she responded quickly and was able to make it happen! We then had her come check on our dog the following 2 days as well. She let me know when she was on her way and gave me thorough updates throughout. I’ll absolutely be using her again and if highly recommend her!”

“Jacqueline is an awesome sitter. My kitties were so happy and healthy when we got home. She's great at making sure our cat got his medicine everyday and that they both felt loved. She also did a great job housesitting and making sure my garden survived our time away.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since 5 years ago helping friends and family when they needed help. I always had a connection with dogs and love to take care of them. I have a part-time job that gives me time to take care of pets weekdays and weekends mostly in the mornings. I can accommodate my schedule too. I make sure that all the necessities and schedules any dog has are completed before leaving, making sure the dog feels comfortable and safe are my top priorities.

“Julia was great with my pup, Honey! She came for a meet-and-greet so I could show her everything she needed. Honey is special needs (blind) and she was great keeping her on her food and walk routine to help her get around. She sent me updates and was very responsive. I would use her services again!”

“Our cat had never been alone for extended time before. Mary was very kind, spending time with him to play and make sure that he was comfortable with her. She was reliable and tool of his needs and kept us updating with Oreo's well being, which made us feel at ease while away.”

“So grateful for Eileen! She helped me out in a real pinch and took care of my kitties while I was away. I loved that she sent me photos of them too, it helped reassure me that they were okay. Highly recommend!”

About: NOTE: My calendar isn't a stone tablet! Reach out anyway! I'm very flexible! ***Want to see more? I post K9 concierge videos on my Nextdoor profile, so head on over and check it out! *** I'm a confident, knowledgeable dog mom that will only provide the best care with safe, enjoyable walks for your dog! Since I was very young, my family has owned a variety of dog breeds. For the past 5 years, upon adopting my own Staffordshire Terrier named Nya from my local animal shelter, I have deeply fallen in love with all dogs and have learned so much about what it means to be a responsible dog owner. Seeing the benefits of consistent training, accommodating behavioral, health/allergy needs, and learning what makes the happiest, well-behaved, furry members of the family has been such a beautiful, rewarding experience I would love to share with the dogs and owners in my community. I love taking walks around my neighborhood and greeting all the dogs on my path. I know without a doubt, I will quickly become their second-best friend! I'm available for walks on most days between 9am and 8pm, but I'd be happy to work with an owner and accommodate a different time. In your home, I'll play with them, provide opportunities for enrichment to entertain them and make them think, go for a good walk, and whatever else you'd like me to do to get the most out of our time together!

Jillian was AMAZING! She made sure to provide pictures and videos through each day. She is very responsive and open. You can tell she truly loves her job and enjoys creating real relationships with your pets. Any time I have to go away I will absolutely be contacting Jillian again. Thank you !

Courtney is the best!!! She went above and beyond to take excellent care of my 3 kitties and also to ease my anxiety about leaving my babies for 2 weeks. She was a great communicator and left detailed notes and photos every day she visited. She spent extra time with them nearly every day, which was great because the shy cats loved her and the attention she gave them! They opened up to her immediately which was really amazing. She even vacuumed and brought my mail in. 1000/10 recommend.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
