“Abby was absolutely wonderful! I was in a pinch and needed someone to come over and check on my dog the same day. I blindly reached out to her, she responded quickly and was able to make it happen! We then had her come check on our dog the following 2 days as well. She let me know when she was on her way and gave me thorough updates throughout. I’ll absolutely be using her again and if highly recommend her!”

“Anna formed an instant bond with our kitties and did such a great job taking care of them! So thankful for the detailed updates and great photos!”

“Nicole was fantastic with our two cats, who required a lot of love and attention while we were out of town. She always went above and beyond which was extremely helpful and appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“Amanda was amazing! She took k care of my pup as her own. She was very responsive and enthusiastic. I very much appreciated when she came out to meet my dog for the first time. It made me and our dog feel more comfortable, as this was our first experience with a pet sitter. Thank you so much, Amanda!”

My pup ate a dead flower petal while under her care and she was quick to swipe it from him and follow through with my Listed vet and her own to ensure no toxicity. The texted me immediately too. “Courtney is the best!!! She went above and beyond to take excellent care of my 3 kitties and also to ease my anxiety about leaving my babies for 2 weeks. She was a great communicator and left detailed notes and photos every day she visited. She spent extra time with them nearly every day, which was great because the shy cats loved her and the attention she gave them! They opened up to her immediately which was really amazing. She even vacuumed and brought my mail in. 1000/10 recommend.”

About: I am an MCC student looking for professional pet care hours for a vet tech certification and hopefully an associates in applied sciences. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, rats, reptiles, and a rainbow of other animals. I have classes on Mondays, and lab at least once a week for 2 hours at 6 am or 4pm. The rest of my week is completely flexible. I typically do a walk around a client’s backyard to make sure animals are securely fenced in. I will always dump and refresh any water bowls, unless told otherwise. Animals I do not know, I approach slowly with treats, and I watch their body language. Any aggressive animals will be left alone for their safety and mine, until I talk to the client about the next step. When walking, I try to avoid other dogs and make sure water is always available when needed. Lastly, I always make sure every door is locked and all animals are safe before leaving.

“We had a great experience with our dog sitter while we were away. He took excellent care of Julie and Romeo, made sure they were fed, let outside regularly, and kept us updated throughout the stay with pictures and messages, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. It was clear both dogs were comfortable and well cared for. We really appreciated the communication, reliability, and attention he gave them. I would definitely trust him to watch Julie and Romeo again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for dependable pet care.”

About: I've loved and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, mine and other people’s too! It started with my childhood German Shepherd, JoJo, who waited at the end of the street every day to run along side the school bus because she knew I was on the that big, yellow, beast. More recently, I loved and cared for my orange and white, Manx cat, Sid, named after Sid Vicious because he was a little vicious when he was a kitten. My experience taking care of other people's dogs began 22 years ago when a co-worker needed help with her Pomeranian when she went on a trip. I dog sat for her several times. When she realized she no longer could keep her Pom, she let me adopt her. For about 4 years, I raised German Shepherds, including ones imported from Germany. During that time, my partner and I also trained German Shepards for a sport called Schutzhund. It's a sport that tests a dog's tracking, obedience and protection skills. I also trained dogs of all breeds and mixed breeds obedience, cute little tricks and manners. You know what I'm taking about with manners! haha jk I love teaching dogs new tricks! I’m comfortable taking care of puppies, adults and senior dogs; anxious and timid dogs and with administering oral and topical medications and following special instructions and giving extra attention and longer walks if desired. If your dog has a strict routine, you can be at peace knowing I will follow your dog’s routine exactly how he/she is accustomed to it being. If you choose me as your dog sitter, your dog will be showered with love, time and attention. I love taking your dog for walks, playing in the backyard and cuddling on the couch, whatever your pet likes, needs, and enjoys. I am here to help! In addition to taking care of your pets, I am a freelance writer and artist working from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. We can make plans in advance for me to take care of your pet and I can usually be available on short notice. When I'm pet sitting in your home, your pets are my focus, but if I do need to step out for any reason, I'll be sure your pets are safe, happy and your home is secure. I'll leave your pets loved, and your home clean for when you return.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - National Park
Tori is all you would hope to have in a pet sitter. She clearly loves animals and after several visits to my home at this point- I always come back to relaxed and obviously well taken care of kitties and doggies. She responds quickly and she has even dealt with some unexpected situations. For example- my cat broke a glass cake stand and she cleaned it up without complaint and with great care so that the animals would not get cut. I'm very thankful for her and so are my pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in National Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
