“Jennifer has been great with Buster. She’s taken him on long walks where he can gather lots of smells. His pancreatitis is currently acting up so he’s in a bland diet and she’s been great supporting that. I definitely recommend her and will use her again.”

About: I have always had a soft spot for puppies to seniors, all breeds of pooches. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, car rides to drive around, a special treat for a pup cup and playing fetch in the yard. I am comfortable with medications, baths/grooming, accidents and the endless dog kisses. I have 2 dogs myself (Rottweiler, and a King Charles Cavalier) who are very rambunctious and always keep me on my toes. I am currently available during the week, weekends and holidays. I am home and available for drop ins, long visits, dog-walks, boarding/overnight visits at your home. I do have a very large fenced in yard for dogs to play in. Multiple crate sizes for dogs and cats along with carriers. For cats- I have multiple cat trees in my home. I do have areas to seperate pets if needed in my 4 story home. Multiple food bowls, blankets and beds to keep everyone happy.
“Julie is a pro 100%!!! We have a very skiddish & stubborn dachshund that took a few days to warm up but Julie was so, so patient and loving with her! In the end she won Mia over!! Highly recommend her!”

“Janelle has been great with our pup! She shows up on time, does long walks, and takes cute pics of our pup! We are happy to work with Janelle and will continue to work with her in the future.”

“Britney was great with our 11 month old Bernese Mountain Dog, Bohdi. We had her come for a mid morning walk for a week that I was away to break up his day since I work from home and he’s used to being with someone. Bohdi is usually hesitant with new people but he warmed up to Britney immediately and was excited to see her even on the two practice runs beforehand. I know he was in good hands and I will definitely use Britney again.”

“Sydney was an absolute trooper getting the harness on my dog. Penny was very skittish about someone else putting it on her, but they were super patient and had a successful walk! They also paid great attention to the house alarm system/lock and had no issues with following directions. Would highly recommend for their calm, patient, and caring attitude!”

“Jillian was fantastic! She accepted the job and followed instructions so well! It was a last minute job because I had to work longer than expected! She sent photos and my boy was so happy! 100% 5 plus stars!”

I've had the honor and privilege of caring for dogs since the age of 7; I couldnt imagine life without them! I'd love to give you the level of comfort I would expect from a sitter and reassurance that they are in the best hands possible besides your own! I like to be their voice, and make them feel loved every second I am with them. Please reach out to me so that we can discuss more about your precious babies' wants and needs. I like to have a peaceful and happy environment for both parties until you are reunited! Thank you for listening and I hope to meet your family soon. Pet Care is my job. I like furparents to know that their babies have my undivided attention with no distractions while they are away so they don't miss out on any of the love and affection they would normally get at home. My home is currently animal free so your dog(s) will be the only ones here with me. I have a fully secure fenced in yard and they will also have free range of my furniture including the bed. My house is also smoke free!

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for practically my whole life! I value proper and personalized care of all animals big and small! I’m currently going to school at Montclair State but I am still able to fit your pets into my schedule! With time advance I can care for your animals ! I currently have two cats and a dog, which I offers fun and caring environment for. I always prioritize their health and safety over anything !
About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
