About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, and I have raised two dogs myself along with my wife. I’ve also watched plenty of friends pets while they are out of town I work remote, so I often have free gaps throughout the day when I can take my dogs on walks or stop by for a visit. I have two incredibly friendly golden retrievers, but there is also plenty of space in my house along with a yard in case pets need space.
About: Hey Guys, We are Kavya & Adam. 2 animal lovers who are Analyst and Consultant by profession and would always be up to host your pets while you are away with a loving home. Do not shy away from booking those vacations cuz your pup is well taken care by Kavya & Adam! 😊 What I require from your side? To make their stay as comfortable and homely as possible 1) Doggo or cats feeding schedule 2) Doggos walking schedule 3) Dog’s bed (If any, if they are crate trained please provide the crate) 4) Dog’s food (To not upset the dogs stomach) 5) Dog’s food and water bowls (To make it easier for them to have stay without their humans) 6) PLEASE do not book if you know that your dog or cat is aggressive towards other cats because we have a sweet, old cat who minds her own business I am currently working Hybrid but Adam works from home full time that gives the guarantee of dog not being left alone at home ever! We don’t keep any edible items on the floor so the dog couldn’t feed on them and we allow dogs on the furniture but the bedroom and Kitchen are places we don’t allow dogs.
About: I have experience with larger dogs, small dogs, and cats as well. I help cater to any special needs or requests you may have such as administering medicine, special diets, and keeping you updated on their well being. Good for quick walks or staying with your pet overnight. I worked in everyday in Brooklyn, NY as a dog walker/pet sitter from 2019 to 2023. I have since then have been traveling around as a pet sitter for the last two years in-between taking care of some important family business. I have grown up raising German Shepherds all of my life and love to know that I am helping someone's day out by being able to care for their pet while they are not able to. I am currently available for any time and can even travel to you if needed for extended overnight stays. Your pet's needs come first for me. I will care for your pet at your home and follow the routine they are used to. Whatever makes them most comfortable is how I will take good care of them.
About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of pets over many years. Along with having pets of my own, I also have been a sitter for my neighbors, friends, and families over the years. I am comfortable feeding (of course), walking, bathing and playing with any kind of furry friend someone might have. I currently work a full time job from 9-5 Monday to Friday so the schedules I provide are set and reliable. I have flexibility to work from home 3 days a week if needed and the option to leave during lunch break! Weekends are mostly free and with advanced booking I can make sure I am available for your needs :) I currently don’t board pets in my own home but am comfortable with homes that may or may not be fenced. Dog walking and parks aren’t an issue for me to get them some exercise!
“Haleigh was so awesome in Cari g for ALL 3 of my babies! She is a god send. I have never used this app before and was skeptical at first but she eased all of my worries and concerns. She checked in with me multiple times and sent me videos and pics of my babies and took care of them as if they were her own. Will definitely be a returning customer and recommend her without any hesitation! Thanks again Haleigh🫶🏻🥰”

“Christa has taken care of our 3 cats on multiple occasions. I cannot say enough good things about that care that Christa has provided. She provides detailed updates and photos from each visit, and it's clear that she knows exactly what she is doing and genuinely cares for our pets. She is an excellent communicator, and I trust her whole heartedly. I give Christa an outstanding recommendation!”

“Jess was amazing with our big puppy! 🐶 She took the time to do a meet and greet the week before, which made us feel really comfortable. Communication was great from start to finish, and she was so sweet and patient with our puppy. We loved getting the picture updates during the walk — you can tell she really cares about the dogs she walks. We’ll definitely be booking with Jess again!”

About: I’ve had dogs and watched dogs since I moved to this area in 2006. I love to take them for walks and give lots of scratches. Dogs are just the best. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I also don’t start until 8:30 or 9 so early mornings are good. I am up late also so any time at night is fine. My home has a fenced in yard. For other homes I would take the dogs for a walk, refresh water, give a treat and make sure they’re all settled before heading out
“I’m so glad that I found Morgan! She is wonderful with my dogs, they just love her, she is on time, reliable, and her communication is perfect. Definitely rebooking!”

“Ashley has been absolutely incredible! She was very communicative and consistent. She made sure to be gentle with my skittish kitten and cuddly with my other girl. She made me feel so comfortable even when I was completely out of touch I still came back to many detailed visits and photos! Super grateful to have found her!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and I have one at the moment. Knowing this, you can probably tell I am well trained for the job and that I love animals. I will play with your energetic pup, or I will cuddle with your lazy seniors! I am home 24/7, allowing me to pay full attention, and I am willing to take your dog for walks as much as needed. There are no cats or children in my home for your dog to worry about, but I do have a dog of my own. I work from home full time :) This allows me to pay close attention to your pup & ensure they have the best, most eventful stay! I have a fenced yard & another dog that your pup can hang out with. My dog sleeps in bed with me, but if putting them in a crate is preferred, I will do so.
About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00
About: I have experience with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits! I’ve worked for 5 years in a clinic supporting a veterinary team providing treatment and wellness to all types of animals. In 5 years I learned how to read an animal’s body language and how to engage with all kinds of temperaments. I have previously worked in a kennel where I maintained the health and wellbeing of boarding animals with scheduled feeding, medication, and exercise. I’ve worked with non profits like the United States Humane Society working in a high volume setting providing medical care to numerous dogs and cats while advocating for animal welfare and wellness. I’m available for walks and house visits. I’m also available to provide daily feedings in the early mornings or the evenings 7 days a week if needed. My love and dedication to animals is one of the reasons I pursued this opportunity. I have had numerous experiences working with a variety of animals in different environments which makes me a great candidate to be entrusted with your pet! I’m always aware of my surroundings especially when working with animals in an unknown environment. I ensure your fur babies are safe and secured at all times with me.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so loving and caring for them has always come naturally to me! Over the years, my family has had two Boxers, a Goldendoodle, and a Rottweiler, so I’ve been around dogs with all different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve always had a huge love for dogs, and that’s a big reason why I decided to start offering pet care through Rover. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your dog while you’re away, and my goal is to give you that peace of mind. Whether your pup loves to play, go for walks, cuddle on the couch, or just have some extra attention and companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. I also have a friendly, playful 10-month-old Boxer of my own who absolutely loves other dogs and is always excited to make a new friend! 🐶🐾 I’ll treat your dog like part of the family and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. ❤️ Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home most days. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. I’m able to stick closely to your dog’s usual schedule, whether that means midday walks, feeding at specific times, or just extra cuddles. Because I’m home often, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have lots of companionship. My flexible schedule also makes it easy for me to accommodate drop-offs, pick-ups, and special care instructions to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for both you and your pup. 🐾 Whether pets stay in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, safe, and comfortable as possible. In my home, dogs have access to a large, fully fenced yard where they can safely run, play, and burn off energy. I always supervise outdoor time to ensure everyone stays safe and happy. Inside, they’ll have a calm, clean space to relax, with plenty of attention, playtime, and affection throughout the day. Because I work from home often, they get lots of supervision and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walks to medication or special care needs. I treat every home with respect and every pet like my own, making sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and stress-free environment where your pet feels completely at ease. 🐾
“Kristen was wonderful with Duke! She really put us at ease. Duke can be difficult with drop-in visits, but Kristen was great! She even spent extra time with him. I would definitely recommend Kristen!”

“Nancy was amazing. She got all the feeding and litter box work done, but she still had time to play with Viggo. I bet Viggo will miss her. Although we are moving in June, we will probably be too far to hire her again, ... sad to say. I am thankful to have found someone as good as Nancy on short notice. I will recommend her to the neighborhood.”

“Never before has anyone exceeded my expectations in as glowing a manner at a time when I needed it most like Lauren! My cat Rosie’s tendency is to usually shy under the bed but this heaven-sent petsitter was able to coax her out and send me the pictures and even videos I needed so badly to see during my vacation amidst my separation anxiety from Rosie! For this, I continue to be grateful to Lauren. In the past, Rosie would be very upset when I returned from my vacations but when I came back from having had Lauren pet sit, Rosie greeted me very happily! I have nothing but glowing things to say about Lauren yet as I fear writing all my praises would be too long a review, I will conclude by saying that if you are looking for a petsitter that is professional, reliable, responsible and not only loves animals but has a way with them, look no further than Lauren!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mantua
Rover exceeded all expectations. I was nervous about using an agency and an unfamiliar sitter. The meet and greet with Monica P. went well from the beginning. Monica arrived on time for the scheduled visits. She followed all directions and most importantly took excellent care of my dog, Lucy. Lucy is a senior dog that we rescued from a past of neglect and abuse. She is not welcoming to strangers. However, Monica was able to gain her trust. She ate meals and there were no "accidents or damage" in the house. The frequent photos and reports reassured me all was well at home.
We had such a wonderful experience with Deanna! This was our first time using her, and from the moment we met, I felt 100% comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. You can immediately tell how much she genuinely loves dogs and how caring she is with them. It was so nice to be able to go away and truly relax, knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We are so thankful to have finally found someone we can trust and will absolutely be using Deanna again!

Exceptional service from start to finish. David was punctual, communicative, and genuinely caring. We received updates and photos, which meant so much while we were away. Our dog looked happy and comfortable when we came back home. We truly appreciate the dedication and professionalism. Highly recommended!
Tori is all you would hope to have in a pet sitter. She clearly loves animals and after several visits to my home at this point- I always come back to relaxed and obviously well taken care of kitties and doggies. She responds quickly and she has even dealt with some unexpected situations. For example- my cat broke a glass cake stand and she cleaned it up without complaint and with great care so that the animals would not get cut. I'm very thankful for her and so are my pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Mantua with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
