About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager and now have a rescue pittie that I would give my life for. Every dog is a great dog and deserves endless amounts of love and attention... and treats of course! I work a full time 9-5 job but I am available for late night walks/check in and weekends. I am trying to focus on exercising more and would love some company on my daily walks. My pittie can only walk so much as he is getting a little older and can't handle long walks. How you would treat your dog, is how I would treat your dog. Your rules and guidelines are my rules and guidelines. I can crate your dog, let them roam free, I'll even tuck them into bed if that is what they like (I know my dog does!)
About: I have always had a soft spot for puppies to seniors, all breeds of pooches. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, car rides to drive around, a special treat for a pup cup and playing fetch in the yard. I am comfortable with medications, baths/grooming, accidents and the endless dog kisses. I have 2 dogs myself (Rottweiler, and a King Charles Cavalier) who are very rambunctious and always keep me on my toes. I am currently available during the week, weekends and holidays. I am home and available for drop ins, long visits, dog-walks, boarding/overnight visits at your home. I do have a very large fenced in yard for dogs to play in. Multiple crate sizes for dogs and cats along with carriers. For cats- I have multiple cat trees in my home. I do have areas to seperate pets if needed in my 4 story home. Multiple food bowls, blankets and beds to keep everyone happy.
“Alyssa was patient, kind, gentle, and loving towards my cat Ghost as if she knew her for ages. Ghost warmed up to her quickly and made my vacation even more relaxing knowing Ghost was well-taken care of. Alyssa went truly above and beyond and even did some light chores around the apartment without me requesting it, which made coming home more delightful. I truly appreciate everything Alyssa did to make this a smooth process. Thank you!”

About: I have 10 years of experience caring for my own pets along with pets for friends and family. I’m reliable, patient, and truly love animals. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I am a preschool teacher with a strong love for animals, and I am looking to fill my off-summer hours with pet care. My schedule is flexible during this time, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care throughout the day and week. I am able to plan my time around feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs to ensure pets are well cared for and comfortable. About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pitman
Deidre was just AWESOME! Was really nervous about having someone come to our house and care for our 8 week old puppy. Deidre put all those nerves to rest! From the very beginning, she was quick to respond and communicative throughout the whole process. She arrived when she said she would arrive and took the best care of our new addition. We also got the cutest updates and pictures on every visit. She even started him on basic commands and he learned them!!! 1000% worth the booking. I looked through so many possible sitters on Rover not sure who to pick... Stop. This is the one- TRUST ME!!!

I don’t know where to even begin. Julia was absolutely amazing and our two boys just loved her! On the first home visit she came in, hyped up the boys into going outside, and gave them lots of treats. Our dogs are not normally around other people but they are also big babies. I would definitely recommend Julia and we will be booking with her again 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
