Bring your pup to a friend.
I was always nervous to leave my furry babies with someone I didn’t know. And I had not-so-great experiences at the kennel. I preferred them to be in a home, cared for by someone who understood their quirks. But I didn’t know anyone who could watch my dogs! Hi, I’m Deidre. And I know we don’t know each other yet, but I hope I can be that person for you. My husband Chris and I are almost always home, so your pup will have constant company, frequent pee breaks in our fenced yard, walks, and plenty of cuddles and laps to sit on (if that’s what they like). Ultimately, we want every dog to be happy and welcome quirky personalities and unique needs. We currently have one old-lady-hound who was born in the woods and was feral for the first years of her life. She is a sweet girl who spends most of her time outdoors. We recently lost our velcro cuddle bug, and miss her a lot. From fresh-air aficionados to lap-loungers, we know all dogs aren’t the same. And since you know your dog best, please tell us what will help them feel at home away from home. I’m happy to talk, and have a meet and greet, to see if there’s a mutual fit. Ultimately I want your dog to be cared for not by a stranger, but a friend!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Deidre, her husband Chris, their kids, and their dog Cannoli! Our Ollie is afraid of most people and things, but they made him feel so welcome and he was calm and starting to open up during his stay with them. EXCELLENT communication from Deidre! We are so happy to have found another home for Ollie when we need one. Thank you so much for caring for our baby dog!!
Deidre was great with my dog! Treated him like their own. Lots of pictures and updates! My dog was well taken care of and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her and her family while we were away.

Deidre was just AWESOME! Was really nervous about having someone come to our house and care for our 8 week old puppy. Deidre put all those nerves to rest! From the very beginning, she was quick to respond and communicative throughout the whole process. She arrived when she said she would arrive and took the best care of our new addition. We also got the cutest updates and pictures on every visit. She even started him on basic commands and he learned them!!! 1000% worth the booking. I looked through so many possible sitters on Rover not sure who to pick... Stop. This is the one- TRUST ME!!!
Deidre and family are amazing. True dog lovers: caring, attentive, and loving! We felt so at peace knowing our Finn was well cared for. From the first meet we realized what special people they are. Their communication was great, the questions they asked to get everything for Finn just right (special needs) and the follow through were all great. We could tell from the pictures that Finn was loved and cuddled and loving life. We felt like Finn was at his second home. Thank you, Deidre and Family!
Dierdre took great care of my dog, Baxter, from April 24–May 5. She sent frequent photo updates, and he was clearly happy and well cared for. Her family was warm and welcoming, and Baxter even bonded with their dog. Highly recommend her as a sitter.

Since I work from home, I'm here pretty much all the time. So is my husband. There's usually at least one of us here, so your pup won't be alone. Tell me your ideal schedule for your pet, and we'll make it work!

In my home or yours, I'm very flexible based on your pet's regular routine and preferences. When your dog is our guest, my goal is to keep them in their routine as much as possible. Do they like extra playtime in the yard? Long afternoon naps in the dog bed next to my desk? Whatever their style is, I'm here to make their visit comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, if it's okay with you, I'd like to spoil them a little with extra treats while they're here. :)

For starters, I will talk to your dog all day long and tell them what a good boy or girl they are. :) I will also tell them their parents love them and will be back soon! They'll get time to sniff and play in the yard, walks around the neighborhood, plenty of pets and snuggles if they want them, a variety of places to snooze, and a playing partner when they have the zoomies. Whatever they enjoy makes me happy. I want you to know they are cared for while you're away, and I want them to have a good time with new smells, and new people.
