About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, and I have raised two dogs myself along with my wife. I’ve also watched plenty of friends pets while they are out of town I work remote, so I often have free gaps throughout the day when I can take my dogs on walks or stop by for a visit. I have two incredibly friendly golden retrievers, but there is also plenty of space in my house along with a yard in case pets need space.

“Kara was great. She took care of my cat for a week. She gave lots of pets and documented (in pictures and in short write-ups) her visits with Monty. I would definitely use her again in the future!”
About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I grew up without a dog, but always looked forward to seeing my furry extended family members. I have had a family dog (Blue Heeler) for 14 years and we all share responsibility for his care. He is treated like royalty and is definitely the most favored family member. I also have experience sitting for other dogs and cats, and provide house sitting, walks, feeding, exercise, and lots and lots of love. Your pets are guaranteed the same treatment and adoration in my care and I will love and care for them as if they were my own because that is exactly what our furriest friends deserve. I look forward to caring for your beloved fur babies! I work from home and am available for drop in visits and walks during the day. I am off on Thursdays and weekends as well. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I am very loving and friendly to animals of all kinds. I will respect your space and keep my activities in your home limited to your pets needs only. Your home will be left exactly as you left it.

About: I love caring for and being around animals. I have more than 5 years of experience caring for pets. They’re precious and deserve tender care. I have cared for dogs and cats through check ins, walks, and house sitting. I have mostly watched dogs or cats 3-4 or older. I have recently watched a kitten who is turning 1 soon and had a lot of fun so I’d be open to doing it again. I am a full time student and have a job outside of this. Pet care would be more during my weekends and free time. Seeing animals when not in class or working is such a reward! My current availability is Friday after 3 PM, anytime Saturday and Sunday, and before 5 PM on Monday. I have pet sit overnight in homes for dogs and cats. I learn quickly and take notes to assure I care for any pet well. I like to ask clients about what they typically do with their pet in a day that their pet will expect outside of feeding and walking time. This might include playing with toys once they come home for 15 minutes or treats after walks. I love doing pet phone calls for clients who want to check in with their pet in real time! A quick FaceTime call can bring such ease to a pet parent and such joy to their pet.
About: Hi everyone! My name is Gianna and I have been working as a pet sitter for the last few years. In addition to my personal dog sitting business I have also worked in an animal shelter as an animal attendant providing care for all of the dogs and cats. I have a flyer that I am more then happy to send to anyone who would like to get more information! I am hoping that Rover will provide me with more experience and the ability to meet new fur babies!! I am usually free during evenings and most weekends for simple dog walks and check ins. If contacted ahead of time I will be more than happy to work around it as needed! I do not offer boarding services for pets as I live with my parents and have a dog who is not dog friendly! Will be updated once I move out!
“Samantha was more than wonderful with my fur babies! She was very attentive to my instructions and took exceptional care of my babies, so that I could thoroughly enjoy my time out. I will most definitely and confidently use Samantha in the future!! Thank you, Samantha, for your time and attentive care!!! So greatly appreciated!!”
About: Hey Guys, We are Kavya & Adam. 2 animal lovers who are Analyst and Consultant by profession and would always be up to host your pets while you are away with a loving home. Do not shy away from booking those vacations cuz your pup is well taken care by Kavya & Adam! 😊 What I require from your side? To make their stay as comfortable and homely as possible 1) Doggo or cats feeding schedule 2) Doggos walking schedule 3) Dog’s bed (If any, if they are crate trained please provide the crate) 4) Dog’s food (To not upset the dogs stomach) 5) Dog’s food and water bowls (To make it easier for them to have stay without their humans) 6) PLEASE do not book if you know that your dog or cat is aggressive towards other cats because we have a sweet, old cat who minds her own business I am currently working Hybrid but Adam works from home full time that gives the guarantee of dog not being left alone at home ever! We don’t keep any edible items on the floor so the dog couldn’t feed on them and we allow dogs on the furniture but the bedroom and Kitchen are places we don’t allow dogs.
“Katia took excellent care of our two cats! We enjoyed seeing the photos of our fur babies when we were on vacation and were very pleased with the care Katia provided them. We will definitely have her care for them in the future.”

About: I’ve had a small dog almost my entire life and have also spent a lot of time around large family dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m patient, dependable, and love making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently home from college and don’t have another job at the moment, so I have a very flexible and open schedule. This allows me to adapt easily to your pet’s routine and provide attentive care throughout the day. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s regular routine so they feel comfortable in a familiar environment. I provide attentive care through feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of affection while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. - 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood to give your dog the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. - 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course, plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away.
“Lorenzo was not feeling well while I was away and Jessica was absolutely awesome with caring for him and sending me updates. She was always on time, attentive and I could tell she genuinely cared about my dog.”

“Victoria did a great job checking in on Mellow. She was very communicative and we were glad to see Mellow was well taken care of. We’d be happy to contact Victoria again to watch Mellow in the future”

About: It is my patience and genuine love for animals drives me to want to care for them! I love making pups and owners happy! I believe all animals deserve to be loved while their owners are away! Hi! I am currently a student and have a part-time job on the weekends, during the day but flexible enough that I can come before and after (pet would not be alone for more than a couple of hours). I have classes in the morning and can be free the rest of the day! I am done with class by lunch but am willing to stop by in between. I do not live in the Rowan area outside of school but readily available and flexible during the school year! I provide overnight care as well as cuddles, playtime and just afternoon sitting as well! Flexible to do anything your pet needs! I also provide walks and high-energy play time if that’s what your pup requires!
“Alyssa was phenomenal! She communicated throughout all of her visits and took photos of our pets to keep us at ease while we were away. I really appreciate her attention to details and her willingness to go above and beyond. We will 100% book her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of pets over many years. Along with having pets of my own, I also have been a sitter for my neighbors, friends, and families over the years. I am comfortable feeding (of course), walking, bathing and playing with any kind of furry friend someone might have. I currently work a full time job from 9-5 Monday to Friday so the schedules I provide are set and reliable. I have flexibility to work from home 3 days a week if needed and the option to leave during lunch break! Weekends are mostly free and with advanced booking I can make sure I am available for your needs :) I currently don’t board pets in my own home but am comfortable with homes that may or may not be fenced. Dog walking and parks aren’t an issue for me to get them some exercise!

About: I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I make it a priority to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so they feel happy and comfortable in my care. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is getting plenty of love, attention, and exercise. I am currently at home for summer and am available for services during the weekdays and have more than enough time to take your dogs for walk. I would be happy to see your furry friend at any time of the day. I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and maintain their pet’s normal routine to minimize stress and provide consistency. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an active adult dog, or a senior pet needing extra attention, I adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. I remain attentive during walks, monitor pets closely during play, and ensure they always have access to fresh water, comfort, and supervision. Clear communication, reliability, and treating every pet as if they were my own are the foundations of my care

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
