“Elizabeth is our regular pet sitter! We won’t go with anyone else! Our pit bull takes medication and has all kinds of issues as a rescue and Elizabeth treats her as her own. She is always on top of her behavior and maintains contact with us to make sure we know all is well. Our kids also have a leopard gecko and a bearded dragon, and she feeds and takes care of them. When she stays with us our home is cleaner than when we left for vacation! Our pets are family to us and we are very picky with who watches them. Elizabeth is the absolute best and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind for quite a few years. I have watched (day/overnight) neighbors, friends and family pets. I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years taking care of dogs, including emergency situations. I overall have 4+ years of experience with dogs. I have 2 dogs in my household. My pup, Max, is a lab/husky/bull terrior mix. He has TONS of energy, so we are constantly playing and getting in lots of exercise. Our other pup, Penelope, is a pitbull lab mix (smaller for her breed). She also has a lot of energy, and wears herself out by chasing Max around and playing with her toys. I have worked with a few special needs dogs, such as dogs with paralysis who need use of wheelchairs and my coworkers pup who has neurological restrictions. I am also comfortable with administering any medication, along with insulin shots. I am currently a full time college student doing this as a side job. I am available during the week and weekend according to my schedule. Holidays are also available. I have a fenced in backyard where my pups play and use the bathroom. I also have a pool for them to play in during the summer time, which they absolutely love. Unless it is required per owner, I am not in the owners home 24/7 when doing overnight services. I have my pups at home, so I will have to step out for 1-4 hours at a time (3-5 times during the day) to feed them, let them use the bathroom, and ensure they are okay.

About: I have not only grown up with cats and cared for two dogs in my adult life, one of which was special needs with behavioral issues, but I've also volunteered at several animal sanctuaries and worked at a veterinary clinic helping out the staff and caring for boarders. I have read up extensively on both feline and canine body language and behavior. I'm a full time pet sitter and dog walker so I make sure any clients I take on can be cared for appropriately. I know how important it was for the pets I once had in my life to get the necessary attention while I was away and couldn't give it to them. I strive to do the same for my clients. I discuss with the humans who know their animals best what those animal's personalities are like and what needs they have. I then go over with their humans how best I can fill in the gap.
