About: I work well with independent minded dog breeds, brachycephalic breeds, and dogs with behavioral issues like extreme anxiety. I have experience in senior care, socialization, and muzzle training with my own dog. For the past few years, I have done in-home sitting for friends and neighbors. I have been around dogs in my family since a young age. In-home pet sitting services include a daily walk, feeding, outside potty breaks and play time. Additional add-on services are brushing, administration of oral medication, wrinkle cleaning, and teeth brushing if needed. There is an additional fee for 2 or more dogs. My schedule allows for me to spend much of the day with your dog, about 6 hours. At night I can spend about 4 hours (plus sleeping time) and usually more. Although I have looked after them in the past, currently I am unable to care for cats. I am available for in-home dog sitting for 1+ nights or just an evening out. Timing for in-home sitting is by appointment. I am available for dog walking/drop-in visits Monday through Saturday, between 11:00 AM and 10:00 PM. While in-home sitting, I try to keep the dog's schedule as consistent with his daily life as possible. I also will take him for a daily walk or to the dog park if that is part of his regular schedule and the owner would like that. Other tasks included are feeding, water top off, outside potty breaks, and play time. Additional add-on services are brushing, administration of oral medication, wrinkle cleaning, and teeth brushing if needed. There is an additional fee for 2 or more dogs.
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my comprehensive experience in dog care, including specialized skills in puppy training and senior dog care. I can help with basic commands and socialization for puppies, while also providing tailored support for senior dogs, such as administering medication and managing mobility issues. I prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment that offers plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection, ensuring both pets and their owners feel at ease. Additionally, I keep owners updated with photos and messages, providing peace of mind while they’re away. Although I do work, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to collaborate closely with pet parents to meet their needs. This flexibility enables me to provide personalized care, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or special training sessions, ensuring that each pet receives the attention and love they deserve. In my clients' homes, I prioritize creating a comfortable and secure environment for their pets. I follow their specific guidelines to maintain routines for feeding, exercise, and bathroom breaks, ensuring pets feel at ease in familiar surroundings. I provide companionship, engage in activities they enjoy, and offer plenty of love and attention. My goal is to deliver personalized care that meets each pet's unique needs while keeping their home environment consistent and stress-free.
About: I have been taking care of dogs for almost 10 years now. During that time I have gained experience with older dogs, diabetic dogs, puppies and everything in between. I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. When I come to take care of your dog I will treat them as if they were my own with lots of love. I want to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog knowing someone responsible is going to take care of them. I have a high energy dog. His care involves daily walks, and lots of training including scent work, learning new tricks or building up muscle and rear end awareness. My favorite activity is walking and training dogs. I will care for your dog with love and kindness. If you give my specifics of how you like your dog handled I am more than happy to follow that. I understand each dog is different and unique which means that I adjust accordingly.

Starting May 1st I will be available all day everyday except for days marked off! I have a fence and big backyard. About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00

About: I adore and cherish dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes. I am a HUGE animal lover and love all aspects of caring for animals. I am the type of person that if I see someone walking their dog across the street, I will go over to pet the dog. I've grew up caring for and loving at least one dog at a time since I was a teenager. I feel a great sense of fulfillment and purpose in knowing that I play a part in neutering the happiness and overall well being of dogs. I started off pet sitting for several family and friend's dogs over the years and found the experience very rewarding and exciting. I then moved beyond the scope of people I already knew to families within my community who requested help caring for their fur babies. I presently have many happy pet sitting and dog walking clients who can attest to my ability to provide the best care possible for their dog(s) (I do provide references) and I’m here looking to expand my customer base even more! I’m educated in obedience skills and utilize the skills I know whenever possible. I earned my master's degree in from Wilmington University in School Counseling in 2017. I am not currently using the degree. Another passion of mine is children. My caring and nurturing personality makes caring for animals rewarding and gives me a great sense of purpose.❤️ My schedule is flexible and I don't mind changing around my schedule when possible to care for furry friends. The more notice I get the better! My home is very safe for pets. I have gates in my family room that close off the room from the rest of my house should a dog need to be contained in one room; however, I can't help but resist letting dogs roam around and sleep in my bed. My yard is fenced in. I don't mind walking dogs around my neighborhood either. Client's always feel at ease when they see my house and the dogs always love their stay!
“John is very responsive and pays attention to Zuri's needs. She is strong, curious and loves to walk. John gave her a little extra time because he understood she was really enjoying her walk. He checks in and was punctual. I appreciate him.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
