About: Hello fellow dog lovers! My name is Laurie, and I live in Wenonah, NJ. I am fortunate to be home during the day and have plenty of time to care for your dog(s). I've cared for dogs my entire life. Prior to having children, I had a pack of 4 lovely rescue dogs! I've watched, walked, and cared for many dogs over the years for family, friends, and neighbors. I've raised several puppies as well. I'm home all day so I am available for multiple drop-ins, walks and play sessions, as well as sleepover stays at my house. Your dog will get plenty of attention while you're away! :) I have a fenced yard and a 7 year-old Mini Labradoodle, Duke, to keep your pup company. Duke loves having friends come over! He's a very good host and doesn't mind sharing his mom or the bed! Your dog can stay the night uncrated, or crated if that is your wish. If your dog is more comfortable staying in their own home, I can drop in as many times as needed for feedings, potty breaks, walks and playtime, or just some snuggle time- whatever makes your dog happy! I can also accommodate a combination of both drop-ins and time spent at my house as well. I can host multiple dogs at a time, with owner consent, as long as I know the dogs well enough to feel confident they will get along. Most enjoy the company like a fun sleepover party, whether they play all day or just enjoy quiet naps together! However, if you have concerns about multiple guest, please let me know.
About: What sets me apart from other dog caregivers is my genuine love for dogs and the experience I’ve gained from being a dog owner for many years. I currently own a beautiful pit bull that is 11 years old ,her name is Blue. Before my dog Blue, , I owned a miniature pinscher for 14 years who passed away from old age and being ill.I understand that every dog has its own personality, needs, and routines. I enjoy spending time with dogs, making them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Especially knowing how important it is to me, when I am away, to know that my dog is cared for fed, and feels safe. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship, I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection that I would give my own. I do currently work full-time. Although I work full-time, I am done work at 2:30, and off in the summer. My husband has recently passed away. I have a lot more time on my hands to give your pet a lot of love. I am done work early enough that I can get to an owner‘s house for a dinner feeding for your pet, letting your pet out if you have a fenced yard , if not a walk. Playtime for your pet companionship whatever the case may be my weekends are free and my summer . It is then that I could provide overnight stays. Having a dog myself, I would not provide any services at my home, however, I would gladly come to your house, carefully come in, call your dog’s name and provide whatever services you would like. Those services would include a 15 minute visit or a 30 min visit In a 15 minute visit: *Let dog out/ short walk * Fresh water/ feeding *Lots of attention/ affection 20.00 30 min drop in * Walk/yard time *Feeding / water refresh * playtime/ companionship *Poop cleanup * photo text update- 30.00

About: I have been taking care of dogs for almost 10 years now. During that time I have gained experience with older dogs, diabetic dogs, puppies and everything in between. I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. When I come to take care of your dog I will treat them as if they were my own with lots of love. I want to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog knowing someone responsible is going to take care of them. I have a high energy dog. His care involves daily walks, and lots of training including scent work, learning new tricks or building up muscle and rear end awareness. My favorite activity is walking and training dogs. I will care for your dog with love and kindness. If you give my specifics of how you like your dog handled I am more than happy to follow that. I understand each dog is different and unique which means that I adjust accordingly.
About: I’ve been taking care of friend’s and family’s pets for over 10 years. I have my own dog who just turned 7 who I helped train since he was a puppy. I work from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and give pets the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. Whether it’s midday walks, feeding routines, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m able to adapt to their needs and provide consistent care. My remote schedule means your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and I can easily accommodate last-minute requests or changes. I pride myself on providing a safe, trusted, and loving environment—whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or visiting theirs. I’ve crate trained my own dog and understand the importance of structure, routine, and positive reinforcement. I’m comfortable walking pets who aren’t fully leash trained and always prioritize their safety on walks. I have a calm, patient approach with shy or anxious dogs, giving them the time and space they need to feel secure. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and make sure they get plenty of playtime and exercise to keep them happy and stimulated. Above all, I ensure every pet in my care feels seen, loved, and well-cared for.

My time volunteering at animal shelters has given me valuable hands-on experience, especially with dogs that require extra patience and specialized care. I genuinely love spending time with these furry friends and prioritize their happiness, comfort, and safety above all else. Your pet will be treated with the same love and attention I would give my own! I am a recent graduate passionate about caring for pets and working to pay off my student loans. I ensure your pets receive the attention they deserve and provide frequent updates with plenty of pictures to keep you connected while you’re away! I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort at all times. Before starting, I gather detailed information about your pet’s preferences, routines, and any special needs. In my home, I ensure all areas are secure and free from hazards while maintaining a comfortable environment for your pets. For walks, I use sturdy, well-fitted leashes and remain attentive to avoid potential risks. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free experience tailored to your pet’s unique needs.

“Elizabeth has been an incredible friend to our Lola. Always on time and extremely attentive. She goes out of her way to love and care for your pet as much, if not more, than you would. I would recommend her to everyone who needs any sort of pet car. My Lola is a 15 year old pit and Elizabeth performed all of the necessary medical responsibilities as well as having the patience required to care for a much older pet. She’s above and beyond in every way and we’ll always repeat services”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
