About: I started using Rover way back in 2013, doing housesitting and dog walks! Took a break for a long time, but I'm on the school schedule so my summer is open! In 2026 I have my own home with a fenced yard, a small dog who loves visitors, and some dog-friendly cats. Your dog will love it here! I'm on school hours, so I wake up early for a morning potty break for my dog, then he eats his breakfast while I get myself put together, then a quick leashed walk. He's alone for about seven hours. We have a potty break, playtime, dinner, an evening leashed walk, and usually another potty break in the yard around 10pm. During the summer break things change a little, my dog is alone a maximum of five hours, I'm not on quite as early a schedule. My yard is fenced! Small dogs can potentially wiggle under my gate, so yard breaks are supervised. I have a patio and many toys as well as plenty of grass to roll around in.
“Extremely friendly, punctual and followed all the instructions thoroughly. We felt very comfortable having Christian stay and walk Zorro. Definitely went, above and beyond. Will definitely repeat him.”

“Lisa is a gem. She made herself available with short notice and was kind and patient with me as a new puppy parent to the rover app. Most importantly I was able to enjoy a day off without feeling guilty and worrying about leaving my puppy’s home for an extended time.”

About: Hi, my name is Olivia and I love all animals but have always had a soft spot for dogs! I have had dogs my entire life with having a german shepherd as a child and a black lab mix! I have worked at an animal shelter in Alexandria as an ACT (animal care technician) so I work with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I currently am a vet student in the area on an internship! I’m super looking forward to looking after your dog!!
“I’ve been using Katia for the past few weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she gives my dog. She is always punctual, professional, and genuinely loves animals. My pup comes back from every walk happy and well-exercised, and I appreciate the regular updates and photos during their adventures. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in good hands when I’m at work. Highly recommend her to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy and kind!”

About: I mostly have experience caring for cats, but have gotten very comfortable with a variety of dogs as well. Always up for more time with any pets! I am in school full time and don't work so my afternoons and nights are very free unless I have an event. On weekends I am usually home most of the day as well. I'll be able to spend as much time as needed with your pet or pets and will care for them as well as your home as if they were my own!
“John is very responsive and pays attention to Zuri's needs. She is strong, curious and loves to walk. John gave her a little extra time because he understood she was really enjoying her walk. He checks in and was punctual. I appreciate him.”

About: I am just starting this journey as a dog walker, sitter. Now that I am a retired teacher I can give my time to helping care for other’s pets. I grew up with my one and only Keeshound Pepper. After she passed I never got another dog; however, I love my friend’s and family’s dogs. I also have a beautiful grand dog named Harper. When we had our kids we were never home because all three of them played several travel sports. I never thought it was fair to have a dog. Now that my kids are grown, I feel like I can enjoy helping take care of other people’s pets. Starting mid June I will be down the shore for most of the summer. My main home is in Turnersville. I would be available most weekdays and some weekends. Although my address will show Turnersville, please reach out if you are near Ocean City. I have the flexibility to come down the shore if needed. I also would like to do this to motivate me to get out and exercise more while enjoying time with your pets. I just retired from being a special education teacher after 28 years. I am a very responsible, trustworthy person and I would care for your pets like they are my own.
“Nadine, was great. She communicated with us fast and helped us along the way. Our dog is on the lager size and she handled him amazingly. She was sweet and attentive. We highly recommend”

About: Hi. I grew up with dogs and cats and have had cats in my home for the past 20+ years. I have had more than one cat that has required daily medication over an extended period of time so I am comfortable giving meds. I have experience dog and cat-sitting for friends, family and coworkers. I know how difficult it is to go away and leave your furry family members home alone. I work from home now so I can work around your schedule and your pets schedule and give you that peace of mind you need while away. I will do more than just feed your pets. I am happy to walk your dog, brush your pets, get on the floor and play with your pets and I will clean up after them whenever necessary. I am an animal lover and would be honored to care for your furry family.

“Stacey is an awesome dog walker and she really cares about the dogs she walks. She has great availability even on short notice and during the work week. I would definitely recommend having her to take care of your best friends!! 🦮🐕🦺🦴 ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I bring hands-on, real-world experience from working at a professional dog daycare called Fetch, where I regularly supervised groups of 17–20 dogs at once. This taught me how to read canine body language, manage group play safely, and ensure every dog feels comfortable and enriched. Beyond daycare work, I’ve also done individual dog walking and spent time volunteering at local shelters, where I walked dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. These experiences have helped me build patience, confidence, and strong handling skills. Whether your dog is playful, shy, high-energy, or needs a little extra reassurance, I’m committed to creating a safe, positive, and fun experience for them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I dedicate Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays entirely to it. I treat pet care like a full-time responsibility on those days, making sure I have plenty of time for walks, play, feedings, and attention. When I’m caring for someone’s pet, they become my priority, and I make sure their routine is followed and their needs are fully met. In my own home, I’ve cared for my dog since he was a puppy—we started with crate training and now he enjoys playtime in our fenced yard and daily walks. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable with different routines and training styles. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very flexible and always follow the routine their dog is used to. Whether that means crate time, specific walking schedules, certain feeding instructions, or favorite play activities, I make sure to care for their pet the same way they would. My goal is to keep each dog comfortable, safe, and happy by sticking to what feels familiar to them.

Grenloch dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve had such wonderful experiences with Stacey! Our dog has stayed overnight with her in the past, and she’s also come by to take her for a walk and feed. Stacey always gives the best updates, which gives us so much peace of mind, and it’s clear how much she truly cares. She takes amazing care of our baby every single time. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely — highly recommend! 🐾✨

Jenny has been unbelievably kind and patient with my shy rescue Jesse. He is responding quickly to her positive energy, learning to be friends and allow her to walk him. She has brought her husband Anthony and little daschund so they can walk together, a beautiful healing experience for my unsocialized, scared dog. They are gems and we are so lucky to have we found them!!
