🐾 About Me Hi, I’m Zahira! I’m a dedicated 5 star pet sitter providing reliable, in-home care throughout South Jersey. My goal is to give pets individualized, stress-free care in the comfort of their own home while giving owners complete peace of mind. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I was an aspiring veterinarian before graduating with my Management Information Systems degree. I grew up with a cat, currently have a 15 year old dog named Sport, and have cared for pets both on and off Rover. Building lasting relationships with both pets and their families is one of my favorite parts of this work. 🐾 My Approach I believe great pet care is built on communication, consistency, and attention to detail. Before every first booking, I require a complimentary meet and greet. This allows us to discuss your pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, favorite activities, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. During house sittings, I work to maintain your pet’s normal routine in the comfort of their own home, helping minimize any worry or concerns while you’re away. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, carefully following all instructions and ensuring your pet receives plenty of love. Zahira is an incredible pet sitter! She watched our dog and bird for us while we were on vacation and took the time to build trust with both of them and make them feel comfortable and cared for while we were away! She made sure to give each of them one on one time each day. She was very communicative and responsive, sending lots of updates, pictures and videos each day that helped keep our minds at ease while away! I would recommend Zahira to anyone who wants their pets to feel loved and be in great hands! We will definitely be hiring Zahira in the future!
Zahira is the best! She was available on a whim and I always feel great about leaving our babies with her. She goes above and beyond with communication and updates and takes the absolute best care of our dogs! She’s basically Remy’s favorite person!

Please note: The communication metrics displayed on my profile may not fully reflect my level of responsiveness or the number of updates I provide. Some clients prefer receiving updates by text or phone, so not all communication is captured by Rover’s metrics. I pride myself on prompt communication and sending regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
