About: I have not only grown up with cats and cared for two dogs in my adult life, one of which was special needs with behavioral issues, but I've also volunteered at several animal sanctuaries and worked at a veterinary clinic helping out the staff and caring for boarders. I have read up extensively on both feline and canine body language and behavior. I'm a full time pet sitter and dog walker so I make sure any clients I take on can be cared for appropriately. I know how important it was for the pets I once had in my life to get the necessary attention while I was away and couldn't give it to them. I strive to do the same for my clients. I discuss with the humans who know their animals best what those animal's personalities are like and what needs they have. I then go over with their humans how best I can fill in the gap.

I wanted her to be home and not kenneled after the stress of moving - best decision ever. Gerri not only spent a great deal of time getting to know us, she took the best care of our puppy girl at our home over 5 days. She spent so much time and care loving on our Velcro dog. I got photos and videos galore. The entire time she was here the weather was horrible yet she took the time to walk and dry PJ off. I came home to a happy and healthy dog and home. About: I have been caring for animals of many different types since I was in elementary school. Some pets I have had to take more in depth care of, but I it’s always worth to it to be able to be around, care for and entertain them! I am currently working 2 part time jobs, but once I discovered Rover I just knew I had to be a part of the pet sitting business! I do have general set times of when I can care for family pets, but I am very flexible in my schedule and in the schedules of the families who need pet sitting. In my own home, I have a tall, fenced in yard where pets can roam freely without needing to be leashed. For clients homes, I ask about rules and guidelines of the home and a list of specific needs I should follow for the pets if requested by the owners. After speaking with the owners, it’s all about the pets! I can stay for an unlimited or limited amount of time on week days and weekends and care for pets as needed. My favorite part about caring for pets in clients homes is entertaining them in a place where they are very familiar and comfortable. Groups of animals that I have experience with are dogs, cats, marine life, rodents, reptiles, and few others. I am willing to play with, entertain, and care for animals of any type many times when needed! Just in case an owner has an aggressive or needy pet, I would like to be informed in advance.

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years, starting at just 10 years old for me neighbors. I am willing to work with all ages and needs. I have experience with special needs dogs as well I have a flexible work schedule and am able to work at home most days if needed. We also have 2 teenagers that live in our house with one working nights & home during the day. Essentially there is always someone at our house We live on a quiet street that your dog will be able to take daily walks, a fenced in pool/small yard (dogs are welcome to swim during the summer months) & as well as another yard area that in unfenced. We have 2 fur babies that love company but can also be kept seperate if your dogs are not interested in playmates.

“Wow, Devon is the best! She house sat for us for 3 nights and was very communicative the entire time. Provided lots of pictures of our pups on walks, playing, and sleeping. All 3 dogs were very relaxed when we got home from our trip. She also took very good care of our home and left it better than she found it. I’d give Devon 10 stars if I could!”
