I am a veterinary behavior technician and have 4 dogs and 6 cats that sunny does a lot of the care for. I also regularly foster animals, some with significant behavior issues that stem from fear and anxiety. And I trust Sunny over just about anyone else to care for each animal in our home appropriately, regardless of their special needs or quirks. He is also regularly in charge of medicating our dogs and cats and does a great job doing this in a way that keeps stress low and the experience as positive as possible.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets and animals since I was a little kid. Over the course of my life I have always had an animal by my side! Whether that be a dog, cat, fish, reptiles or even animals like hamsters and rabbits every single one them have been given the love and attention needed! Recently I had to care for my elderly dog with her medication and mobility issues. I have also been pet sitting for my families who are in need of assistance with special needs animals. I am available 7 days a week anytime during the day. I am also available nights and weekends as well. So if you need to go out of town for an overnight I have plenty experience in house sitting as well. I always make sure that they have a proper sleep schedule and also make sure their day is full of activities and excitement so they don’t miss a beat when they are back in the arms of their wonderful owner.

“Alara is a fabulous pet sitter. She recently took care of our two dogs while we were out of town for four days. It’s a bit strange at first entrusting a “stranger” with your dogs and home. But after the initial meet & greet with Alara we felt better about our upcoming trip. She loved Bosco and Sox and they immediately took to her. Alara stayed with the “boys” overnight and also tended to their needs during the day for the duration of our trip. She went above and beyond expectations. Alara kept us updated with texts and photos so we could see our dogs were in good hands, getting constant attention from Alara. This comfort level allowed us to have a much better trip. Upon our return, Bosco and Sox were very excited to see us and appeared well fed and healthy. We found our home was just as we had left it and discovered a nice welcome note on the kitchen table from our pet sitter.
