About: Hi everyone! My family and I are huge animal lovers. While we love all kinds of pets, cats and dogs hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud parents to Boo and Luna, our wonderful 6-year-old sibling cats, and Nena, our energetic, fun, and loving 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix. What We Offer: -Dog Walking: We love staying active! Walks can range anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the weather and your dog's energy levels. -Bathing & Grooming Support: I can easily accommodate special requests for baths. Having worked through bath-time anxiety with my own dogs, I have plenty of patience and personal experience making it a calm, safe process. - Drop-In Visits: I’m available for drop-ins to assist with feeding, play, or potty breaks—whatever your fur baby needs while you're away. - Boarding: I would love to host your dog in our home! To ensure a safe and happy environment for both your pet and ours, I require a quick initial meet-and-greet at my home first. About: I am very good with dogs, because I pay attention to their body language. Dogs communicate through their eyes, body and barks. Similar to a person using sign language. Most communication is non-verbal and I definitely pay attention and make sure I treat every furry friend with respect and love. Dogs have feelings and like to socialize in healthy environments and that is what they will get with me as your dog sitter and / or dog walker. I will take your dog walking, I will check-in on your dog and play ball or tug of war with them, if that is what they like to do, I will provide water refills and food refills, even mix food upon request and follow instructions specific to your dog's need. I like to take dogs to the park, go jogging with dogs, belly rubs, hugs and playful affection. I like making dogs feel important, so they know they matter. This way, they feel happy and fulfilled while you are working or away on vacation, or away for that day or moment running errands. I am currently an entrepreneur. Trying to start my own pet business. Served, previously in the United States Air Force. Used to have an emotional support dog for 14 years who is no longer with us due to old age and health problems. That was my peace and joy who helped me through difficult times in my life. I actually feel happy spending time with dogs. Running with dogs, playing ball with dogs, training dogs, walking dogs, dog sitting and playing, cuddles and hugs! I make dogs feel important because they are our fur babies who deserve the best life can give them! I will give your dog fresh water, food, medication; if necessary, pay attention to their body language to figure out what they need from me to feel more comfortable and supported. If you have instructions or a routine I will follow those set of guidelines. I will keep all owners well informed with updated photos and possible videos on how their fur babies are doing! If they need a bathing that is extra, but I will clean your dog thoroughly after playtime. If, you want me to take your dog to the park, I love doing walks and runs in the park with your fur baby! Get all the extra energy out, so when you come home they are well satisfied and content. I have a house and a yard. Yard is not fully fenced in yet, but currently working towards fixing it or getting a new fence. My house is dog proof to keep all fur babies safe and happy, but there are always other options available to keep your dog as comfortable as possible. I can't recommend Sol (Cookie) enough! I would give her 10 stars if I could! She helped me out at the last minute when I had some unexpected renovations at my home. Her vibe is so bright, positive and calming. She took the best care of my cat. She even just sat near her and kept her company when she was being shy. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. I will definitely use her ANY time I need a sitter (and you should too!) Her love of animals is obvious. We can't wait to see her again!
So happy Karleigh was available to watch Dingo again (: He had such a great time as always and had fun with their pup Noodle and was calm and relaxed when we picked him. He really loved staying with them at their new house with a wonderful fenced in big backyard. Perfect setup for him to feel safe and comfortable. Would trust Amber with June again in a heartbeat! June is a recent shelter rescue, so I was nervous about leaving her with someone new, but I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She took wonderful care of June the whole time, sent updates and photos so I never had to worry, and clearly put in the effort to help June feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. You can tell she’s more of a dog person than a people person, but in the best way possible because June warmed up to her fairly quickly and seemed so relaxed and happy to stay with Amber. June got along great with her animals. Great communication from start to finish, and she gave so much love to my girl.
Probably our fourth stay with Annette and Martin. They are fantastic! Our very active, friendly spaniel loves them and we get pictures and reels that show us just how comfortable and happy he is. Pretty sure he gets so much attention he thinks he's on vacation. I can't see why would use anyone else.
Marcus and Nicki are such a sweet couple and cared for Kyrie very well. I was particularly grateful because the request was a bit last minute, but they were so understanding. It was clear they had a lot of experience with dogs and knew how to care for our very anxious Kyrie 🥹 They had great communication and sent cute images of her over the weekend.
