About: Hi everyone! My name is Shania. I have lots of experience with pets. I've had two animals of my own growing up. A dog and a cat. My dog, which I still have, is named Sport and is 13 years old. My family has had lots of animal-loving friends and would ask for them to stay with us while they were away. So I've had experience with pet-sitting on multiple occasions. I am always playing with my friend's fur babies while I am over at their house. Animals have always held a special place in my heart! I look forward to spending more time with animals through Rover. About: I am very good with dogs, because I pay attention to their body language. Dogs communicate through their eyes, body and barks. Similar to a person using sign language. Most communication is non-verbal and I definitely pay attention and make sure I treat every furry friend with respect and love. Dogs have feelings and like to socialize in healthy environments and that is what they will get with me as your dog sitter and / or dog walker. I will take your dog walking, I will check-in on your dog and play ball or tug of war with them, if that is what they like to do, I will provide water refills and food refills, even mix food upon request and follow instructions specific to your dog's need. I like to take dogs to the park, go jogging with dogs, belly rubs, hugs and playful affection. I like making dogs feel important, so they know they matter. This way, they feel happy and fulfilled while you are working or away on vacation, or away for that day or moment running errands. I am currently an entrepreneur. Trying to start my own pet business. Served, previously in the United States Air Force. Used to have an emotional support dog for 14 years who is no longer with us due to old age and health problems. I will give your dog fresh water, food, medication; if necessary, pay attention to their body language to figure out what they need from me to feel more comfortable and supported. If you have instructions or a routine I will follow those set of guidelines. I will keep all owners well informed with updated photos and possible videos on how their fur babies are doing! If they need a bathing that is extra, but I will clean your dog thoroughly after playtime. If, you want me to take your dog to the park, I love doing walks and runs in the park with your fur baby! Get all the extra energy out, so when you come home they are well satisfied and content. I have a house and a yard. Yard is not fully fenced in yet, but currently working towards fixing it or getting a new fence. My house is dog proof to keep all fur babies safe and happy, but there are always other options available to keep your dog as comfortable as possible. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 we’ve always been a dog family. Even now at the age I am we still have dogs we walk them, take them outside every couple hours and feed them twice a day I have a passion for animals. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. I can honestly say that I am very pleased with the care that my Fur baby has received. I have never left Lulu with a stranger, only close family and friends. She is truly my princess. I have been thinking about doing this for a long time as I never go out and unfortunately, I had no choice this time because I had to lay my mother to rest. Thankfully I found Adrienne who was a blessing. Lulu took to her at our meet and greet session and almost didn't want to come back when I picked her up. She was quite comfortable. Adrienne was truly a gift from God in a time I needed it most. I was still nervous but she sent me photos and kept me updated. I would greatly recommend her for your pet needs. Would trust Amber with June again in a heartbeat! June is a recent shelter rescue, so I was nervous about leaving her with someone new, but I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She took wonderful care of June the whole time, sent updates and photos so I never had to worry, and clearly put in the effort to help June feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. You can tell she’s more of a dog person than a people person, but in the best way possible because June warmed up to her fairly quickly and seemed so relaxed and happy to stay with Amber. June got along great with her animals. Great communication from start to finish, and she gave so much love to my girl.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your fur baby with someone when you’re on vacation. That being said Jenny and her family took such good care of my puppy Teddy. When I saw the pics each day I could see the love she gives to her fur clients. I had a nice vacation knowing he was living his best life with Jenny. I highly recommend if you need a like home environment Jenny will not let you down. I definitely will only use Jenny in the future. Thanks Jenny Teddy will miss you💙
Probably our fourth stay with Annette and Martin. They are fantastic! Our very active, friendly spaniel loves them and we get pictures and reels that show us just how comfortable and happy he is. Pretty sure he gets so much attention he thinks he's on vacation. I can't see why would use anyone else.
Cecily was amazing! This was my first time boarding my cats so I was extremely nervous going into this & she made the process as stress-free as possible. My plans changed a few times & each time she was very willing to work with me. My boys both seemed to adjust to their time with her easily. She kept in contact with me throughout the entire time & sent pictures daily. My 1 boy won't eat unless I stay with him as he's afraid his brother will steal his food & she was willing to accommodate their needs. I most likely have another trip coming up this summer & I will absolutely use Cecily again, if our schedules align.
