About: My name is Rashad I am a 32 year old who has always had a strong love for pets. I am local to the Blackwood area but I will travel to care for your animals personally. I have personally owned 3 dogs, a Weimaraner named Bella, pitbull terrier mix named Jay and a toy sized Yorkshire terrier named Chloe. Unfortunately I am no longer a pet owner but I still I hope to be able to watch over some other furry companions to fill the void that has been made by their absence. I have experience as a manager at Petco so not only do I know how to care for dogs, I am well versed in the basic needs for most reptiles, birds, cats, and other small animals.I have no problem accepting pets that are not spayed or neutered for some reason rover won’t let me change that setting on my profile, so please disregard. I hope to share my affinity for pets with other pet parents while they allow me to host their fur children and look forward to yet again feeling the comfort of a four legged friend in my home. I work a rotating schedule with 12 hour shifts at a healthcare facility. I do my best to keep my calendar up to date but I am flexible so I do encourage you to reach out to me directly with an inquiries about dates and times I am available. I’m typically available early mornings and in the evening on the days I’m working but on my off days I am ready to be an all day companion for your furry friend! I have many years experience working with dogs and cats of all sizes and breed. I know how important it is to provide a safe and friendly environment to our four legged friends. About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! My schedule is determined by the pets in my care and their schedules. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. With me, your pup will have 24/7 one-on-one attention. They are allowed on the furniture and will always be supervised. I also have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained but most of the time they will play and hangout where I am. I have 2 cats that do well with dogs. The cat food is raised off the floor and litter boxes are located in the main living space and are scooped immediately.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I am also a firefighter for over 12 years and have worked with K9 s at work. My dog Tucker loves other dogs and is always looking to run and play. I work from home so I am always available to take care of your pets. My wife is also available most days to help as well! My dog sleeps in bed with us and is allowed on all furniture. We also allow our friends’ dogs on all the furniture and bed when we watch them. We have plenty of space for dogs to play in our yard and will be getting a fence very soon.
