About: I Have a whole lot of love and patience to give when you cant be with your fury companion. I have had dogs for 25 years (lost my longtime ones of 14/16 years old years back) and Because my heart still yearned to wanting to provide that love and quality of life every animal deserves, I turned to dog sitting and rescue/foster. I have a clean home with a fenced in yard. I want your pet to feel comfortable in their surroundings and will cater to the life they typically lead when with you(laying w me, play time ,walks, treat time, med administer, etc). When your fur baby leaves, I want them to leave happy and waiting for their next return. For the most part I only take 1 Dog at a time. I will always have my 4.5 year old Terrier mix Female. She is 11 pounds. (Very love able and low key. She was a “foster fail” who We just couldn’t part with. She fairs well w smaller, low key dogs). I will also consider caring for caged small birds/animals as I have done so for clients. It will be an extra $5-$10 per day. I Always send updates and pics while in my care. I would love to talk w you about your fur baby. Please feel free to reach out. Please also understand the communication process for meet and greets and bookings is imperative.to maintain(within 24 hour responses), or I will offer the inquiry of date to the next person that wishes to proceed immediately. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I always stay with the pup when he/she is outside and can crate him/her in the home if needed. At your home, I would make sure to put them on leash when your pup is going out and follow your guidelines for the pup.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 we’ve always been a dog family. Even now at the age I am we still have dogs we walk them, take them outside every couple hours and feed them twice a day I have a passion for animals. Pet care is already part of my daily routine.
