About: Hi! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and love caring for them. For the past two years, I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I became dog walking certified and worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Before that, I was the neighborhood dog walker since I was a kid. I have lots of energy and always make sure every pup feels safe, loved, and happy. I take care of my own dog every day, so pet care is already part of my daily routine. I’m always on the go and happy to stop by for a quick walk, drop-in, or playtime whenever I’m needed. I have lots of energy and always make sure every pup feels safe, loved, and happy. I’m dog-walking certified through a local animal shelter, where I’ve spent the past two years gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Through my training, I’ve learned how to safely handle every type of dog and can quickly tell when something seems off. I’m very attentive and have a strong understanding of dog body language, which helps me make sure every pup feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
“I always trust Caylan to take care of my cats while I am away. She gives them a lot of love and attention and I feel much better knowing they have someone like that taking care of them!”

About: I am taking a break from the corporate world this summer and doing something I love! I have open availability Monday-Sunday. From a very young age, my mom made sure I had responsibilities with my dogs growing up. I have dealt with several different breeds and sizes from a Maltese, pug, beagles, husky, labs, etc. I think of myself as someone that animals gravitate towards because I have such a big heart for them and love taking care of them and cuddling with them and letting them give me all the kisses. I have helped potty train, walk, pet sit, and play with all of the dogs growing up that I had and that my friends/relatives have had. Often, I pet sit my cousins five beagles and husky beagle mix! I am sadly allergic to cats but I have taken care of a few by feeding them and cleaning the litter box followed by some play time! I also have administered oral medication whether it be through a syringe or hiding it in a treat! I’m saving up to get my own place so I can have my very own pup! I’m currently taking a break from the corporate world and doing something that brings me happiness this summer. I am available Monday through Sunday for walks and drop in visits! I will always make sure to keep an eye on your little fur baby and make sure I do everything in my power to keep them as safe as possible, whether on a walk or in your own backyard!
“Kim was great. She squeezed in a meet and greet at short notice. She was on time and cared for my dog for two potty breaks. Sent several pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend her and use her again.”

“I live alone with my two dogs. My dogs are very attached to me. When Morgan came to meet the dogs and I for the first time, I knew she was the right person for the job. Morgan took care of them for a week while I was on vacation. She dropped in 3 times a day to feed them and let them out to play. The dogs were great all week and very happy when I got home. She kept in touch with me throughout the week and sent some pics too. I highly recommend Morgan for anyone that needs a caring person to take care of thier pets.”
“We have used Kerry several times and trust her completely with our two cats and two dogs. She's very timely, caring, and goes above and beyond expectations. We will definitely continue to use her for our pet care needs in the future.”
About: I’ve cared for all animals since I was 10. My own, family and friends! I’ve had dogs, rabbits, lizards, cats, you name it! I can’t wait to get to know and treat your fur babies as my own! About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve always naturally been drawn to them — whether it’s stopping to pet a dog on a walk or making sure every animal around me feels safe and cared for. Being around animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something that genuinely makes me happy. What sets me apart is that I don’t see pet sitting as just a job — I see it as taking care of a family member. I pay attention to each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort needs so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. As a full-time student and part-time worker, I’ve learned how to manage my time responsibly and stay organized. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I intentionally build my schedule around the commitments I take on. I only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet my full attention and quality care. My class schedule gives me flexibility during certain parts of the day, and working part-time has helped me become dependable and punctual. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon drop-ins, or evening visits, I make sure your pet’s needs come first during our time together. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like “extra” work — it’s something I look forward to fitting into my week. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I focus on keeping everything as consistent as possible. Staying in their familiar environment helps reduce stress, so I maintain their regular routine and respect your home just as I would my own. I make sure they get exercise, enrichment, cuddles (if they like them!), and plenty of check-ins. I also provide updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Atco
Niara was a lifesaver today with Wyatt when I was scheduled for a last minute visit in NY. Very prompt with the walk times, super friendly & understood by “dog-mom anxiety” of making sure Wyatt’s favorite show was put back on until I got home. I’ll definitely be reaching out again. Thank you so much!

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Atco choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Atco with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
