About: I truly stand out because caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I’ve loved for over 10 years. I’ve been watching and caring for pets on and off for a decade, and I also worked professionally as a dog bather, which gave me hands-on experience with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s a tiny pup, a giant breed, a senior pet, or a shy first-timer, I know how to make every animal feel safe and understood. At home, I have two dogs of my own who I love with my whole heart. I’m a stay-at-home dog mom, so I’m with my pets every day, giving them structure, affection, and constant attention — and I bring that same passion and consistency to every pet I watch. Your animals won’t just be looked after; they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and care I give my own. If you want someone experienced, dedicated, and genuinely animal-obsessed, I’d be honored to take care of your pets like family. I’m a stay at home dog & cat mom! So I have all the time to hang out and make you’re fluffy friend happy! I have a fenced-in yard and I have two friendly doggies and one friendly kitty who would love to make friends with you furry family, I can easily create your pup as well if needed or they can have their own room as well with a queen size bed just for the animals to relax and hang out if needed :)
“Danielle has been doing a great job with my 5 month old puppy. Bella comes back from daycare relaxed and happy. she takes time to make sure Bella is not eating grass or doing the things young puppies do. I would highly recommend Danielle.”

“Shanee was a wonderful host. My Theo did not want to leave her house by the time I came to pick him up. It was so nice feeling relieved; knowing that my dog's having a good time with a good caring family while i was at work. I highly recommend! Thank you so much, Shanee & the family. I shall be back for sure.”

“I brought my two beagles to Stacey for a year, and she and Anthony took wonderful care of them. They were very easy to work with, and whenever my family gets another dog, we definitely plan on using Stacey again.”
“So far so great! This was our first booking and it went very well! Shelann was welcoming and wonderful with CLA. She has a grand home and backyard. There was plenty of play at the home and the dog park. More than enough videos and great communication. Definitely recommended!”

About: Hi, I’m Jai! I’m a passionate animal lover, certified dog groomer, and dedicated pet caregiver who believes every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved — even when they’re away from their family. 🐶✨ My journey with animals began through my 4 years in FFA (Future Farmers of America), where I gained hands-on experience with animal care, responsibility, and proper handling. I also have experience working on a farm, which helped me develop a strong understanding of animal behavior, patience, safety, and the importance of providing consistent care. Throughout high school, I completed 4 years of agriculture classes, including animal science and anatomy studies, which helped me better understand animal health, body structure, and overall well-being. Along with my dog grooming certification, I have built a strong foundation in caring for dogs and understanding their individual needs. I am also continuing my education with the goal of opening my own affordable, high-quality dog care facility, where every pet can receive loving, dependable care without families having to worry about the cost. My passion is creating a place where dogs feel at home and owners feel confident knowing their pets are in caring hands. I understand that every dog is unique. Whether your pup is a playful adventurer, a shy sweetheart, a senior needing extra patience, or a cuddle-loving companion, I take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel comfortable. When your dog is in my care, you can expect: 🐾 Safe, reliable, and personalized attention 🐾 Plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection 🐾 Walks and activities based on your dog’s energy level 🐾 Grooming knowledge and attention to their comfort 🐾 Regular updates and photos so you can stay connected 🐾 A patient, caring, and responsible environment Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I’m passionate about and continue to build my future around. I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family member and provide them with the same love, patience, and care I would want for my own. 🐕💛 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom because I’m already dedicated to creating a structured, safe, and loving environment. My days are built around routines, responsibility, and making sure everyone’s needs are met — including my furry guests. Being a stay-at-home mom gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure each pet feels comfortable, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. One of the things that makes my home special is my 4 acres of outdoor space where dogs can enjoy supervised playtime, exercise, and exploring. My property includes a walking trail, a river area, and an invisible fence system that helps provide an added layer of security while they enjoy the outdoors. Safety is always my top priority, and I make sure every pup is comfortable and cared for during outdoor activities. I love creating a home-away-from-home experience where dogs can relax, have fun, and receive personalized attention. Between my animal care background, grooming experience, and love for dogs, I’m committed to giving each pet the patience, care, and affection they deserve. I want owners to feel confident knowing their furry family members are in a safe, loving, and attentive environment. 🐾 When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where every dog feels like part of the family. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and individual needs so I can provide personalized care. My daily routine allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, including regular potty breaks, meals on schedule, playtime, exercise, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. I have 4 acres of outdoor space where dogs can enjoy supervised adventures, including a trail for walks, open areas to play, and access to nature while being protected by an invisible fence system for added security. I understand that every dog is different, so I follow the owner’s instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, comfort preferences, and daily habits. My background as a certified dog groomer, along with my experience through FFA, agriculture classes, and working on a farm, has helped me understand animal behavior, safe handling, and the importance of patience and proper care. My goal is to provide a home-away-from-home experience where pets feel happy, relaxed, and loved while their owners have peace of mind knowing they are receiving dependable, attentive care. 🐾If a pet is crate-trained or an owner requests it, I can comfortably use crates for rest periods, meals, or bedtime to help maintain their normal routine. Throughout the day, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection, and I work to keep their schedules as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at ease while away from home.
About: Pet Care Experience I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra love and patience. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, giving meds, and of course plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time. I treat every dog like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. What Sets Me Apart I really take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and quirks. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn good habits, supporting an older dog who moves at a slower pace, or sticking to a routine to keep your pup comfortable, I always adjust to what your dog needs. I also pay close attention to little details—like favorite toys, treats, or special instructions—so you can feel at ease knowing your best friend is in caring hands. Since I work from home, I have plenty of flexibility to give your dog the attention they deserve throughout the day. I can easily step away for walks, playtime, or check-ins, and I love having the company of dogs while I work. Whether it’s sticking to a set feeding and potty schedule or adding in some extra cuddle breaks, I’m able to keep your pup’s routine consistent and stress-free. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my care, I make sure they’re in a secure and pet-friendly environment—free of hazards, with plenty of space to relax and play. I always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s diet, medication, or special routines, so your pup feels right at home. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect as I would my own. I keep doors locked, routines consistent, and make sure your dog feels safe and loved until you return. Building trust is important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and quick check-ins to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
