I stick closely to your pet’s routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, play, or quiet companionship so they experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, and I approach every visit with patience, attentiveness, and affection.

To ensure the safety and comfort of both your pet and myself, I’d love to know if your pet is particular about anything—whether it’s triggers, sensitivities, routines, or handling preferences. Every animal is unique, and the more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide the care they’re used to and deserve. Open communication helps me create a safe, stress-free experience for everyone involved!
A typical day
I aim to stick closely to your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible while you’re away. That said, if I had the chance to craft a great day for your pet, it would include plenty of fun and bonding time! For a dog, we might start with a nice walk or a trip to the dog park for some fresh air and social time. I’d love to relax together in the living room or play with new toys together as well. Throughout the day, I’d make sure your pet gets lots of attention, play, and love. If it’s okay with you, we could even wrap up the day with a special treat like a pup cup to make it extra special. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well-cared for—just like you would.

Please note: I work in office M-F from 8 to 3 and have holidays and spring/winter/summer breaks off from work. Caring for others has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I loved walking my neighbors’ dogs, which sparked a lifelong love for animals and I had the joy of raising my own dog for 13 wonderful years. What sets me apart is my calm, nurturing presence shaped by my background in counseling. My skills and knowledge with relationship building, attachment, and even trauma lead me to be a very understanding pet caretaker. I have missed caretaking for pets, but am unable to commit to pet ownership at this time, leading me to Rover to fulfill this desire! Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I’m here to give them the same care I’d want for my own.
