Pet care experience

Calming energy, attentive dog care

I work well with independent minded dog breeds, brachycephalic breeds, and dogs with behavioral issues like extreme anxiety. I have experience in senior care, socialization, and muzzle training with my own dog. For the past few years, I have done in-home sitting for friends and neighbors. I have been around dogs in my family since a young age. In-home pet sitting services include a daily walk, feeding, outside potty breaks and play time. Additional add-on services are brushing, administration of oral medication, wrinkle cleaning, and teeth brushing if needed. There is an additional fee for 2 or more dogs. My schedule allows for me to spend much of the day with your dog, about 6 hours. At night I can spend about 4 hours (plus sleeping time) and usually more. Although I have looked after them in the past, currently I am unable to care for cats.

Safety, trust & environment

While in-home sitting, I try to keep the dog's schedule as consistent with his daily life as possible. I also will take him for a daily walk or to the dog park if that is part of his regular schedule and the owner would like that. Other tasks included are feeding, water top off, outside potty breaks, and play time. Additional add-on services are brushing, administration of oral medication, wrinkle cleaning, and teeth brushing if needed. There is an additional fee for 2 or more dogs.

Elizabeth is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She was always on time and took great care of my dog from when he was a puppy and on to his old age. When he needed medication, she carefully administered it and gave us daily updates while we were away. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future. She truly loves animals and they love her back.

I've known Elizabeth for a long time and she has always been great with my French bulldog. She has been a pet caregiver since a child and is very attentive to my dog's emotional well-being and safety. Because she is responsive and professional, she is perfect for house sitting my pup while I'm on vacation. She leaves the house in great shape and I know my fur baby is in trustworthy hands while I'm away!

I have experience working with independent breeds (working, guardian, or herding breeds) as well as dogs with a bite history. If your dog is an experienced biter, I will be glad to sit for you! However, I need to have that information ahead of time, as well as warning of any triggers for adverse reactions. Bites are usually a sign of stress and anxiety, not aggression, and I can do a better job of putting your dog at ease if I know all the facts. Also, it is important for me to know if your dog is accident prone in the house, what preventative measures you take, and what is your clean-up procedure. Please tell me if your dog has a taste for chewing items that are not his and I will be sure to keep them out of the way. The same goes for certain human behaviors (for example, I have had dogs who do not like to hear singing - strange but true).
