Hi! My name is Melissa! I am a local pet sitter out of South Jersey! I have always had a love for animals growing up around dogs, cats, horses, bunny's and more. A year ago I was looking for an opportunity to get out of the house, do something active and give back to the community and that's why I signed up on Rover! Since then have been able to take care of the cutest pups! I have a car, a bike and love to walk so can get around everywhere! I am excited to join the South Jersey community and will be priding myself on quick response times, sending multiple cute photos of your pet, give detailed updates and always provide a quality experience for your pets. I had a great customer base in Philly when I was living there and I am excited to repeat that in Jersey and build a strong reputation with customers and ultimately looking for long term opportunities and also be able to provide emergency services when you need someone day of! I have experience caring for golden retrievers, labs, bulldogs, German Shepard, dachshund, German shorthair pointer, corgi, Yorkshire terrier, cavalier, boxer, Australian Shepard, Bernese mountain dog, bichon fries, American staffy and more. Please let me know if additional tasks are needed while your away like taking in the mail or watering the plants!

I will always follow the client's instructions and respect your home, sticking to a schedule, and being aware of specific notes about the home or animal. I am very familiar with the surrounding areas so know the roads, trails, parks in the area. I will always be mindful of other animals in the streets while walking yours. Let me know if there’s unique requests you have for your furry friend! I have a fenced in backyard and a security system at my house with cameras. I have optimal space at my home for pets to feel comfortable walking around. I grew up in Marlton so I know the surrounding area very well.

Melissa boarded our dog and we were so happy with her care again! Lucy was clearly very well cared for, we received lots of pictures and Melissa was extremely accommodating, flexible and communicative! Melissa is great and we are so lucky to have her as our weekly dog walker for our boy Bruce! He is still a puppy (large puppy) so he is a handful but she is great and always communicates well!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule to do walks and drop ins. I am open to same-day bookings and keep my calendar up to date with availability. If you’re interested in long term care please let me know as I would love to arrange a weekly schedule.
