About: New to Rover, but I’ve taken care of dogs for over 12 years and cats for over 5 years, and can always be sure to feed, walk, and provide medication to your pets in a timely manner. My apartment is ensured to be pet-proofed and a cozy environment for most any dog. Your pets are your babies and I will make sure to treat them as if they were my own!! I also have two close DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) friends on speed dial to consult in case of any emergencies. Happy to chat more and gain a new niece/nephew!! I currently work from home Monday through Wednesday and am home by 6 on days that I am in office (Thursday/Friday). Weekends I am home for the majority of the day, so from Saturday-Wednesday I can ensure that your fur baby gets enough play time and attention throughout the day! For weekend boarding, I’m happy to chat through earlier arrangements for Friday drop off (1:30-6pm). I can wake up early and stay up as late as needed if frequent walks are needed. My apartment will be your pet’s little hotel for their stay, with room service and activities included! I have no other pets, so they will have the place to themselves. Whether your dog is high energy and needs some stairs to let out their zoomies, or low energy and needs a cozy corner with some sunlight to bask in, my place can adapt to any pet’s needs. I will be sure to give your pets attention, cuddles, and playtime throughout the day, and they are allowed to sleep wherever they find the comfiest in the apartment. Any specified feeding/walking times will be honored and if there’s any deviation from the usual schedule for any reason, you will be notified in advance. About: Currently, in our family, we have a senior dog, Edie. Edie was a rescue and we've had her since she was four, she's now twelve She is well attended to, from receiving her daily medications, to her regular vet visits. Edie is my constant companion. She is usually by my side all day long. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time available to watch and care for your K9. I am available with advanced notice. No longer inconvenienced by a work schedule. I am working on several projects for my model railroad club at home since I've retired. Our dog, Edie is well taken care of in our home. We make sure Edie is fed ever morning and receives her daily medications. She is taken to her regular vet visits. Since Edie is an older dog, she doesn't go for walks as often in the summertime but gets regular backyard visits. She does likes to sunbathe. When she's up to it, we wrestle and play rope tug from time to time. Edie is pretty much by my side all day long.
