“Sam was amazing!!! She communicated with us the whole time and really took care of our two cats! She did a meet up to get to know them first, asked questions and was great with pictures! I will definitely be using her again! She went above and beyond :)”

About: Long-time Dog Lover and Owner Here! I’ve had dogs since I was 6 years old, ranging from Beagles to Pits but I love all breeds of dogs. Over the years I’ve done lots of dog sitting for friends and family and am always up for some good play time and cuddle time with doggos. I’m experienced with administering medication to dogs and cats. I’m also a quick learner and will be very mindful about particular requests in caring for your dog. I love to walk all over the city and look forward to taking your fur babies along with me!. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and spoiling your pups with lots of love! Note: Unfortunately, I cannot care for or accommodate cats as I am highly allergic :( I currently work mornings until 2pm and live close to work so I have full afternoons and evenings available for your fur baby. I’m also off on weekends and have open availability. I have a fenced in yard and no pets currently. I do have a 5-year-old child but she has been around dogs and is very kind and gentle with them. However, your dog must be ok with small children. I also live in a neighborhood with wide sidewalks and a nearby playground making it super easy to walk your dog. I also have a car so I can easily drive to places in the area to for drop-in visits and dog sitting.
“Amanda took care of our three cats while we were away. She kept us in the know of what was going on at home. Leaving parts of your family is stressful but having Amanda check in on them made our travel stress free! Thank you Amanda!”

“Davene has been a fantastic sitter for my puppy. While he is still a little timid and learning to be around other people who aren’t me, her updates to me show that he has warmed up to her, which shows that she truly cares for the pets she looks after.”

“Makenzi was wonderful with our dogs! She was punctual for every drop-in visit and kept us updated with photos each time, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We'd absolutely book with her again and have no hesitations recommending her to anyone.”

My ability to adapt to various situations and my keen understanding of animal behavior enable me to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets thrive. Don't think I just stop at Cats and Dogs! I was a professional pet sitter for years and have watched and cared for Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Fishes and a Pigeon (yes even a pigeon). I currently have 8 year old cat Begbie (gorgeous, grumpy and full of sass) 2 1/2 year old cat Dexter (always has his tuxedo on ready to crash events and full of spice) 3 guinea pigs (Norman, Joel and Donnie), they currently reside in their own room (with fences around the outlets), where they have plenty of room to forage, hide, run, whatever their tiny hearts desire. In essence, my passion for pets, sets me apart as a pet sitter who goes above and beyond to exceed expectations and provide peace of mind to pet owners. I can do AM and PM. I do work an 8-5, but have the flexibility to work times around to fit your needs! Weekends AM and PM as well but less restrictive Our cats are indoor cats and our guinea pigs are in a completely separate room (We do allow the cats to visit them, but supervised only)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Riverton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
