I have 3 border collies, my daily routine is dogs. Training, playing, and adventuring is what we do. Every day has basics that need to be met, but also beyond that. Toby is a special needs dog who requires a belly band, regular cleaning routines, skin care treatments, and close monitoring. In addition, right before my trip, Twix developed ulcers that required medications and eye drops, and Matthew managed his treatments carefully and patiently, even when administering them was difficult. Caring for four dogs is already demanding, but my situation is especially complex. My boys must remain separated due to fighting, the girls can be destructive with bedding, and accidents can happen. Finding someone willing and capable of managing these responsibilities has always been a major concern for me, especially when trying to travel to visit my fiancé. One of the things I appreciate most is the level of communication Matthew provides throughout the stay. He consistently sends updates and photos, and he is very attentive about voicing any concerns regarding my dogs’ health or behavior. That level of detail and attentiveness gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away and reassured me that my dogs were being carefully monitored and genuinely cared for.
