About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a cat owner myself and have two wonderful female cats. I’m passionate about providing care. I volunteer at the SPCA and received training in both feline and canine behavior and handling. I regularly attend cat adoption events to help cats find loving homes. A few years ago, my family drove hours to adopt my now 4 year old cat, Francis, after finding her through a Craigslist listing. I’ve also sat pets for family and friends, cats and dogs. In addition, right before my trip, Twix developed ulcers that required medications and eye drops, and Matthew managed his treatments carefully and patiently, even when administering them was difficult. Caring for four dogs is already demanding, but my situation is especially complex. My boys must remain separated due to fighting, the girls can be destructive with bedding, and accidents can happen. Finding someone willing and capable of managing these responsibilities has always been a major concern for me, especially when trying to travel to visit my fiancé. One of the things I appreciate most is the level of communication Matthew provides throughout the stay. He consistently sends updates and photos, and he is very attentive about voicing any concerns regarding my dogs’ health or behavior. That level of detail and attentiveness gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away and reassured me that my dogs were being carefully monitored and genuinely cared for. Matthew has given me complete confidence and peace of mind every time he watches my dogs. I am incredibly grateful for the compassion, reliability, and dedication he provides, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking attentive and trustworthy pet care.
