About: I have been around animals for my whole life! I attended Saul High School and I am a recently graduated Veterinary nurse from Harcum college! I am currently working at Banfield Pet Hospital and I also have a Pet sitting Business called Walk on the Wild Side! About: I have an 11 year old senior dog who I’ve trained in eating, using the bathroom, tricks, and other manners since he was born. I’m known to my family and close friends as the pet-obsessed girl, who says hi to every animal I pass on the street. By picking me as your animal’s caretaker, your picking a complete animal-lover who will love your pets just as much as you do❤️ As a college athlete, I often take walks around my neighborhood on my own for leisurely time. I’d be over the moon happy to have a companion to take these walks with, or even take them to the park to get some play time together! Along with loving animals, I also would describe myself as being a pretty clean and organized person. However you leave your home is how I will leave it for you when you return.

“Thank you so much Molly! What a life saver you have been. Your kindness and punctuality is greatly appreciated. Your help during my recovery has been a God sent. Mercedes was so anxious seeing me in recovery. She has calmed down so much. Mercedes is very shy and she is so comfortable with you. Recovery has been hard but my little girl has gotten TLC and her walks have made everything go smoother. You are the Best!!”

“Julie is great with Buddy! She has sat with him, given him his meds, walked and played with him. She makes sure I get photos and videos to check in. It’s nice to know there is someone reliable and caring to help with my big, goofy, neurotic dog.”

“Brian has been walking our dogs for several months now and the dogs’s reactions are so cute when he comes. He has formed a great relationship with both dogs and they him.”

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds including not just cats and dogs, I currently care for 2 cats and 2 dogs and love them all. I volunteered at an animal shelter for multiple years and want to continue animal based experiences! I work currently part time but often have my weekends free and enjoy a good walk after getting off of my job, I do part time teacher work so the mental refresh is helpful I believe in utmost safety priority, including surveying surroundings constantly for threats, adjusting to it situationally and avoiding drawing attention to it incase it excites the animal.

About: I provide reliable, attentive care with personalized routines, experience with puppies and senior pets, medication administration, regular updates, patience, and a safe, and loving environment. Pet care fits my daily weekly it involves daily feeding, fresh water, exercise, cleaning, and affection, plus weekly grooming, habitat cleaning, health checks, and maintaining supplies for the pet's wellbeing. I provide feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, medication if needed, litter or waste cleanup, grooming, and regular updates while ensuring pets stay safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes since I can remember. Dog poop, hairballs, slobber…not grossed out, will clean it all. We recently lost our 17-year-old chihuahua, so I have experience caring for a senior pet as well. I’m a freelance creative, working from home with a very flexible schedule. I can easily shift my day around to meet your pet care needs! I am a sucker for instructions and will follow them to a T. Your pet(s) will get my undivided attention, love, and care. “Hadiya is great! She’s amazing with her high level of care, consideration, and attention to detail! I’m really glad to be working with her! My dogs love her 🫶🏾”

About: We got our dog when I was 9 years old. Stanley was a vivacious little chihuahua mix who loved chasing squirrels, cats, dogs that were much bigger than him. This included my uncle's pitbull, who he chased up a flight of steps in our house. Stanley was always there when I needed him, and when i moved to college, he was one of the family members that i missed most. Dogs do so much for us, each of them having their own personality. My goal is to provide your furry family member with the company and care that they need while you are away. I believe that my now 10 years of experinece caring for my own dog and my Uncle's pitbull has prepared me for giving dogs the love and care that they need. Playing with neighborhood pups is something I like to do for fun in my spare time. Since Im currently unemployed, by availability is more open. I believe in treating other people's homes with the same respect I would like for my own. Mind your business, put things back where you found them, and dont let the dog drink out of the toilet.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 or 11, and that's when I also started working on a ranch. Until about 2019 I took care of dogs, chickens, horses, and cats. Animals are a very important part of my life and I'm very good at taking care of them. Taking care of pets is a full-time job, but it's one that I've enjoyed my entire life. I take care of animals in some way everyday and everywhere I've gone. Everything in my house is pet proof and I have hardwood floors just in case there are any accidents. There are gated off and inaccessible areas that the cats can get into but the dogs can't. Everybody has a space. I also have a fenced in yard for them to explore. I live in a very nice neighborhood as well, so it's a safe area to walk the dogs.

About: Have had dogs my whole life all in varying degrees of health, age, size, etc. Ex puppy foster as well love taking care of puppies I’m currently working dinner shift at a restaurant so I’m able to provide majority of care in the mornings or at night unless off that day. Kind and caring pet care from someone who misses having pets of my own, I’d love to play with and help take care of yours.

I highly recommend Alexys for your pet care needs! I’ve been working with her for about a month, and she has quickly become one of my most trusted, go-to sitters. She is incredibly professional, kind, and communicates effectively, which I truly appreciate given my busy schedule. Most importantly, she takes wonderful care of my dog; I can see how comfortable my pup is with her, and the frequent updates during bookings give me complete peace of mind. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her!

I use Matthew on a regular basis for dog walks and cannot recommend him enough. He is kind, professional, helpful, and attentive to your dog. My dog and I have been adjusting to a new routine over the past month, Matthew has been a huge help to me personally, adjusting bookings as changes in schedule happen, reaching out to resolve app issues, and ensuring my dogs needs are met when I’m not around and providing her with a sense of comfort, seeing him routinely and enjoying his presence. Thank you Matthew, truly, your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Jessica was a great pet sitter! She made sure to schedule a meet & greet beforehand, which I really appreciated. Our dog Wrigley, felt super comfortable around her and I knew I could trust her to take really good care of him while we were out. Jessica followed our instructions perfectly and her communication was stellar. Overall, it was a really great experience. Thank you so much Jessica!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
