I have experience with dogs, cats, and farm animals. If you want frequent updates….I gotcha. Pictures…no sweat. I’d love to help. I’m clean, communicative, responsible, and flexible. I'm here for your summer travels, last minute walks, and house-sitting needs seven days a week with flexibility to help accommodate your schedule. I have an apartment with two cats I fostered and adopted. I love to love on animals and know how important it is to find trust worthy help. I previously worked at an animal sanctuary where I cared for goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and cats. I take time to get to know each animal so that they feel comfortable and loved. I’m not currently caring for animals at my place right now. But I’d love to house sit or complete drop-ins for you to take good care of your babies.

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds including not just cats and dogs, I currently care for 2 cats and 2 dogs and love them all. I volunteered at an animal shelter for multiple years and want to continue animal based experiences! I work currently part time but often have my weekends free and enjoy a good walk after getting off of my job, I do part time teacher work so the mental refresh is helpful I believe in utmost safety priority, including surveying surroundings constantly for threats, adjusting to it situationally and avoiding drawing attention to it incase it excites the animal.
“Julie is great with Buddy! She has sat with him, given him his meds, walked and played with him. She makes sure I get photos and videos to check in. It’s nice to know there is someone reliable and caring to help with my big, goofy, neurotic dog.”

About: Hello, I’m Kay, a veterinary technician with 8 years of experience offering professional in-home drop-in care. With nearly a decade in veterinary medicine, I bring both compassion and clinical expertise to every visit. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Over the past 8 years, I have gained extensive experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, as well as supporting pets with chronic conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, and arthritis. Beyond medical care, I closely monitor for changes in appetite, hydration, behavior, or mobility—subtle details that can be especially important for pets with ongoing health needs. During drop-in visits, I can provide: • Feeding and fresh water refills • Litter box cleaning or basic waste removal • Medication administration (oral, topical, injectable) • Chronic condition support and monitoring • General wellness checks (hydration, appetite, comfort level) • Visit reports with notes and photos for your reassurance In addition, I am trained to recognize early signs of distress and respond appropriately in urgent situations. If an emergency arises, I can provide immediate first aid and ensure your pet receives prompt veterinary attention. Every animal I care for is treated with the same respect and attention I would give my own. Whether your pet is a healthy, playful companion or one who requires a bit of extra medical support, you can trust that I’ll bring reliability, knowledge, and compassion to every visit. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I’m able to provide consistent, reliable visits throughout the week. I build my schedule around my clients’ needs, making sure every pet gets attention, medication, and care exactly when they need it. I provide attentive, personalized care in your pet’s familiar environment. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box or waste cleanup, play and enrichment, medication administration, and monitoring for any changes in health or behavior. I treat every pet with the same compassion and professionalism I would my own, and I provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: Since I was about 6 years old I’ve been catching stray animals and caring for them. I don’t plan on having animals from different homes together unless it is okay by the pet owner. I will be more than happy to bathe your animal if they need it, yes cats too. I don’t have anything toy or food wise so please provide items for your furry friends visit to my place. Thank you for considering me for your pet needs! I really hope we get in touch soon! I am currently working towards my RE license at Kaplan University (online) so I’m basically home all the time. My schedule is very flexible and who doesn’t have time for puppy snuggles? I care for pets like they are my children 😂. I find activities to do with them that they enjoy playing catch, tug-a-war, napping, etc. I give them lots of love and let them know I’m happy they’re here.
About: I’ve always been good with dogs. I watch the dogs for my family and friends. I can train if you would like, but I take very good care of the dogs and make sure that they have everything they need. I have just finished college. I am free most of the time and looking to help with any of your pets needs. My schedule will fit around the pet care. I take them for walks around the neighborhood and or to the dog park. I can put them in a crate if needed but most likely won’t be needed. They have space to roam around the house and if they are dog friendly, I have others dog that they can mingle with.

I highly recommend Alexys for your pet care needs! I’ve been working with her for about a month, and she has quickly become one of my most trusted, go-to sitters. She is incredibly professional, kind, and communicates effectively, which I truly appreciate given my busy schedule. Most importantly, she takes wonderful care of my dog; I can see how comfortable my pup is with her, and the frequent updates during bookings give me complete peace of mind. Don’t hesitate to reach out to her!

I use Matthew on a regular basis for dog walks and cannot recommend him enough. He is kind, professional, helpful, and attentive to your dog. My dog and I have been adjusting to a new routine over the past month, Matthew has been a huge help to me personally, adjusting bookings as changes in schedule happen, reaching out to resolve app issues, and ensuring my dogs needs are met when I’m not around and providing her with a sense of comfort, seeing him routinely and enjoying his presence. Thank you Matthew, truly, your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Jessica was a great pet sitter! She made sure to schedule a meet & greet beforehand, which I really appreciated. Our dog Wrigley, felt super comfortable around her and I knew I could trust her to take really good care of him while we were out. Jessica followed our instructions perfectly and her communication was stellar. Overall, it was a really great experience. Thank you so much Jessica!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
