Courtney is a great dog “person”! She met with me and my new puppy to get to know her to make sure it would be a good fit, and was very good with her and with flexibility on what options I needed for walking and feeding! She is also a great “people person”! She sent me photos and updates every day so I could keep track of what was going on while I was at work. Courtney’s the best and all two legged and four legged creatures are lucky to have her!! 😊

About: Hi! My name is Samantha, and I have been caring for pets around my neighborhood for about two years. As a pet owner myself with two cats, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets. I have 2 years of hands on experience providing dedicated pet care through pet sitting for my neighbors and friends. My responsibilities have included caring for dogs, cats, and small animals of various breeds and temperaments. I follow detailed care instructions provided by each pet owner, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and special dietary needs. Pet care is a regular part of my daily and weekly routine. I make sure pets are fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention every day. I do also work part time on certain days. When caring for pets, whether in my own home or a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I begin by gathering detailed information about each pet’s routine, dietary needs, medical history, and behavior. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner to maintain consistency and reduce stress for the pet. In a client’s home, I respect their space by maintaining cleanliness and ensuring all areas accessed by the pet remain secure and organized. I monitor the pet closely, engage them in appropriate physical and mental activities, and provide companionship to ensure they feel safe and cared for. Whether at home or on-site, I am attentive, patient, and responsive to each animal’s unique needs, always aiming to create a nurturing and trustworthy environment.

She’s one years old. She is considered a teddy bear dog, her breed is call shih-poo. She brings me so much joy and comfort.. I love her dearly. Having her make me want more dogs. My best option is pet sitting. I’ve cared for many of my family pets. I love spending time with them and caring for them. I look forward to meeting many new buddies. I work at a school. I am currently not working for the summer. Right now, My availability is flexible until I go back to work I live in a house with a backyard not fenced. I have a porch that has a porch potty. Nice visit today with my timid dog, who’s just beginning to know Nija! Today Nija patiently walked her up and down the sidewalk and hung out on the front steps, all while interacting with her in such a friendly and patient way that by the end my pup had chilled out and seemed truly sorry to see her leave! Later we had a very calm evening walk with almost no pulling, and then she conked out for the night!

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes since I can remember. Dog poop, hairballs, slobber…not grossed out, will clean it all. We recently lost our 17-year-old chihuahua, so I have experience caring for a senior pet as well. I’m a freelance creative, working from home with a very flexible schedule. I can easily shift my day around to meet your pet care needs! I am a sucker for instructions and will follow them to a T. Your pet(s) will get my undivided attention, love, and care. And, with your permission, I love to take photos of your pets and share them with you to add a little bright spot to your day.

About: Hi! I’m Camille, and if there’s a dog at a party, that’s probably who I’m talking to. As a pet owner myself, I understand that every animal is different. Some pets want nonstop playtime, some want cuddles, and some prefer their space. I take the time to learn what makes your pet comfortable and happy. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop in visit, or company while you’re away, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. Expect lots of updates, photos, and communication so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is simple: a happy pet, a stress free owner, and plenty of tail wags along the way. 🐾💕 Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. As a server, I’m used to being active, managing my time efficiently, and staying attentive to the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. My work schedule gives me flexibility during certain parts of the day, allowing me to dedicate time to walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and playtime. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so pet care is a natural fit for me. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any household rules to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owner is away. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe in my care. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve always been good with dogs. I watch the dogs for my family and friends. I can train if you would like, but I take very good care of the dogs and make sure that they have everything they need. I have just finished college. I am free most of the time and looking to help with any of your pets needs. My schedule will fit around the pet care. I take them for walks around the neighborhood and or to the dog park. I can put them in a crate if needed but most likely won’t be needed. They have space to roam around the house and if they are dog friendly, I have others dog that they can mingle with.

I volunteered at an animal shelter for multiple years and want to continue animal based experiences! I work currently part time but often have my weekends free and enjoy a good walk after getting off of my job, I do part time teacher work so the mental refresh is helpful I believe in utmost safety priority, including surveying surroundings constantly for threats, adjusting to it situationally and avoiding drawing attention to it incase it excites the animal.

About: Hello, I’m Kay, a veterinary technician with 8 years of experience offering professional in-home drop-in care. With nearly a decade in veterinary medicine, I bring both compassion and clinical expertise to every visit. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. Over the past 8 years, I have gained extensive experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, as well as supporting pets with chronic conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, and arthritis. Beyond medical care, I closely monitor for changes in appetite, hydration, behavior, or mobility—subtle details that can be especially important for pets with ongoing health needs. During drop-in visits, I can provide:     •    Feeding and fresh water refills     •    Litter box cleaning or basic waste removal     •    Medication administration (oral, topical, injectable)     •    Chronic condition support and monitoring     •    General wellness checks (hydration, appetite, comfort level)     •    Visit reports with notes and photos for your reassurance In addition, I am trained to recognize early signs of distress and respond appropriately in urgent situations. If an emergency arises, I can provide immediate first aid and ensure your pet receives prompt veterinary attention. Every animal I care for is treated with the same respect and attention I would give my own. Whether your pet is a healthy, playful companion or one who requires a bit of extra medical support, you can trust that I’ll bring reliability, knowledge, and compassion to every visit. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I’m able to provide consistent, reliable visits throughout the week. I build my schedule around my clients’ needs, making sure every pet gets attention, medication, and care exactly when they need it. I provide attentive, personalized care in your pet’s familiar environment. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box or waste cleanup, play and enrichment, medication administration, and monitoring for any changes in health or behavior. I treat every pet with the same compassion and professionalism I would my own, and I provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
