“We have an anxious and very clingy rescue dog, Frankie, who we couldn't take to our typical dogsitters (thanks mom and dad! 😁) during vacation. He's a 5 year old chihuahua/mini pinscher, a little dude with a lot of needs. A regular boarding facility would make him fall apart from stress with so many other animals around, so we looked for a dogsitter who would watch him for a week, with no other pets or clients. Ilana was so nice and friendly, my nervous little dog wasn't super welcoming right away as expected, but he warmed right up after a day. The meet and greet definitely helped, he was already more comfortable the day we dropped him off because he had been there and met her once before. We received multiple updates daily on how Frankie was doing, and photos and videos of play time, walks, eating, etc. Ilana stuck with Frankie's usual routine with feeding and walking which helped a lot, everything was very smooth and as normal as could be for him. He wasn't anxious when we picked him up, and he's settling back in easily. My husband and I were nervous to hire a dogsitter for the first time, but the experience was so easy, our doggy is happy, and so are we. We would 100% book again in the future! ❤️”

About: I will understand your dog's needs and take the time to make sure they are comfortable. I have experience with reactive, aggressive, and shy dogs with varieties of needs. I have 3 border collies, my daily routine is dogs. Training, playing, and adventuring is what we do. Every day has basics that need to be met, but also beyond that. My dogs get their needed play and attention in my small fenced yard daily as well as a different daily activity, from swimming to homemade dog gym time, there's always something different and fun.

About: I have an 11 year old senior dog who I’ve trained in eating, using the bathroom, tricks, and other manners since he was born. I’m known to my family and close friends as the pet-obsessed girl, who says hi to every animal I pass on the street. By picking me as your animal’s caretaker, your picking a complete animal-lover who will love your pets just as much as you do❤️ As a college athlete, I often take walks around my neighborhood on my own for leisurely time. I’d be over the moon happy to have a companion to take these walks with, or even take them to the park to get some play time together! About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 or 11, and that's when I also started working on a ranch. Until about 2019 I took care of dogs, chickens, horses, and cats. Animals are a very important part of my life and I'm very good at taking care of them. Taking care of pets is a full-time job, but it's one that I've enjoyed my entire life. I take care of animals in some way everyday and everywhere I've gone. Everything in my house is pet proof and I have hardwood floors just in case there are any accidents. There are gated off and inaccessible areas that the cats can get into but the dogs can't. Everybody has a space. I also have a fenced in yard for them to explore. I live in a very nice neighborhood as well, so it's a safe area to walk the dogs.

“Gregory was very responsive to my last minute request for boarding. My dog is little and anxious, and I was not sure how she would do with another dog as large as Koda, Gregory’s dog. But Koda turned out to be very well trained and had a lovely calm demeanor. Maya was very comfortable and I will definitely be using Gregory again!”

We only had a couple days to find someone, and they were willing to squeeze in a meet and greet to help ease our minds. It was evident through photos and texts that Etta was having an amazing time with Becky, Travis, and their pups- and being treated with care and love. She was even sent home with a handmade bandana! We’re so thankful!”

“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”
