About: I have working experience with a vast array of animals. I enjoy learning about different animals, creating species specific care guides and following them! I have experience shadowing at both a dog day care, and a veterinarian hospital. I am in college for Conservation and Wildlife Management, and have a senior dog, and a hamster of my own! I am currently taking a semester off from college, and would love to stay active throughout the fall and winter! I often love to explore new areas, and I'm sure a pet would too! I am very responsible to make sure all doors, gates, etc are closed and locked before leaving to ensure no pet escapes. Animal safety is a priority of mine, and I will be sure to follow any instructions left for this reason. I will also clean up any mess left by a pet that occurs while I'm there.
“Marilyn went above and beyond taking care of our little cat. She is really great! She spent her time in each visit and you could tell she enjoys the time with the pet. We found out little one in perfect condition when we were back. Marilyn is absolutely trustworthy and we will definitely book with her again for future moments. So lucky we found her! :)”

“Amanda took care of our three cats while we were away. She kept us in the know of what was going on at home. Leaving parts of your family is stressful but having Amanda check in on them made our travel stress free! Thank you Amanda!”

About: I have been working in veterinary medicine for about 6 years. Growing up I also raised seeing eye dogs. I have a dog of my own as well as 3 cats. I am comfortable administering all medication. 🐶🐱All animals are welcome (even exotic) !! 🐰🦜I work outside the home four days per week; however, I am still able to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving boarding environment for your pets. While boarding with me, your pets will receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and as much one-on-one time as possible. Their comfort, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. As a passionate animal lover, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for your pets. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, ensuring they feel at ease during their stay. In addition, my experience working in veterinary medicine has given me valuable hands-on skills and knowledge that help me provide attentive, knowledgeable care for pets of all ages and needs.
“Jaclyn was very prompt and efficient. It was obvious the dogs felt very comfortable with her and every picture she sent my dogs looked happy. We will definitely use her again!”

“First time having JJ visit, and first time using Rover. I couldn’t possibly be happier! JJ is a scared-dog-whisperer! My timid guy did really well with her and it warms my heart to see it. She’s attentive, communicative, and kind. I will certainly reach back out to JJ in the future, and recommend you do the same! Thanks from Abvey, Deedle, and especially Rick???”

“Trederica was wonderful! Kept me updated with pictures every visit & accommodated all my needs when it came to my fur baby, would absolutely book her again.”

“I have booked with Christina twice and she is great! I trust her with my babies. She got my one slow to trust cat to cuddle with her, which is the ultimate sign to me. I will definitely book with her in the future”

About: Hello Everyone! I’m Nicole and that cute guy in my photo is my pup Lochly. He’s a corgi mix and he’s awesome! I have been pet sitting for friends and family for the last 20+years. I’m a realtor and a host on Airbnb and make my own schedule so I’m flexible with my hours. I like dogs of all sizes and breeds and ages. Walks, fetch, tug of war, snuggles and belly rubs ... I can do it all. I live just outside of northeast philadelphia but I am on the move a lot for work so I can cover all areas of the city. i really enjoy meeting new people and their pups and I look forward to this new venture. I am a realtor who makes her own schedule. I have lots of flexibility during the week to be able to accommodate your pet’s needs. I’m detail oriented so please leave all the things required to care for your dog, no matter how silly it may be. If your babies are anything like mine they definitely have some quirks that need to be indulged and I am happy to oblige
“Jennifer was very helpful and able to help with only a few days notice, which was so appreciated! She spent time playing and making sure my Annabelle was checked in, fed and played with while I was gone. It put my mind at ease knowing Annabelle was in good hands. Jennifer is professional and kind and I would recommend her!”

About: I have experience with a variety of animals - I've adopted 6 cats, 3 dogs, 2 parakeets, 2 guinea pigs, and a ferret in my lifetime! I have experience with both kitties/puppies and geriatric cats and dogs, and everything in between! I love all animals and I am constantly going through trial and error to ensure they have a long fulfilling life, whether that's making fun and enriching toys for them or finding picky eaters food they love! I am taking a semester off of college while I work to become a pet groomer, so I am available most days and times! I cannot do long stays in order to take care of my pets at home as well, but I am happy to do visits and short stays! I am very conscientious of doors and safety hazards when it comes to pet proofing. Ferrets and kittens really know how to test how pet proof something is, so I am very keen on delivering a safe environment. I will make sure to supervise your dog if you have a backyard and I know the proper way to secure a leash when taking them for walks!

About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds including not just cats and dogs, I currently care for 2 cats and 2 dogs and love them all. I volunteered at an animal shelter for multiple years and want to continue animal based experiences! I work currently part time but often have my weekends free and enjoy a good walk after getting off of my job, I do part time teacher work so the mental refresh is helpful I believe in utmost safety priority, including surveying surroundings constantly for threats, adjusting to it situationally and avoiding drawing attention to it incase it excites the animal.
“Haley did an excellent job taking care of our bunnies while we were away! Provided very detailed updates, lots of pictures, and made me feel very confident about their care. Haley even went above and beyond by taking care of things in house, like noticing that my bananas were going bad and putting in the freezer for me ☺️. Highly recommend and will hire again!”

“Antoinette was amazing with my cats! She was great at following the instructions given and communicating with me. She also provided pictures and videos which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely recommend her and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“After my roommate mistakenly locked the doors, Victoria went above and beyond by climbing through a window in order to feed and take my pup out while I was away on vacation. Taz got along well with her during a meet and he was his typical goofy self in the pictures she sent. Def will be requesting her again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cheltenham
Amanda is so great with animals. We have an extremely anxious cat that most other sitters never see, but came out for pets with her! Had she not taken pictures of the event, we probably wouldn't have believed it happened. She's responsible and accountable and we will definitely book Amanda again in the future.
JJ is trustworthy, reliable, and took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away for almost two weeks. She dropped in every day to ensure they had their daily wet food, scooped their litter, and kept sufficient dry kibble and water available to them. My home was kept neat and clean, and she brought in my mail each day. Most importantly, she is an animal lover herself so my boys had playtime on the sunny enclosed porch - their favorite space - and affection! My experience with JJ was very positive. She is a genuinely nice person and I will definitely use her services again whenever I travel. Thanks, JJ!
My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!

We selected Julie when our normal Rover sitter was no longer available. I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond in every possible way. I felt like our cats were in great hands and I’ll be looking to her the next time we need our boys cared for.

Deresha is great! Feel like I got lucky with her being available. She knows her way around dogs of all breeds and can handle any type trouble your dog may give some one. Trusted her more and more as time went on. You won’t regret hiring Deresha to take care of your little ones, she’s great and is even willing to meet you before you need services to make sure she’s a good fit for your mascots. Deresha is the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
