“Jaclyn was very prompt and efficient. It was obvious the dogs felt very comfortable with her and every picture she sent my dogs looked happy. We will definitely use her again!”

“Jenn was wonderful with our fur babies! Our dog is generally anxious with new people but Jenn was able to make him feel comfortable. She was always on time, shared timely updates, and was extremely easy to contact and work with. We will absolutely use Jenn again for our future pet sitting needs.”

“We have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections every 12 hours. Courtney was on time and communicated well during her drop-in visits, which was much appreciated. Thanks so much!”

“First time having JJ visit, and first time using Rover. I couldn’t possibly be happier! JJ is a scared-dog-whisperer! My timid guy did really well with her and it warms my heart to see it. She’s attentive, communicative, and kind. I will certainly reach back out to JJ in the future, and recommend you do the same! Thanks from Abvey, Deedle, and especially Rick???”

“I was so lucky to get Keri as my pet sitter! My cats loved her and I received so many pictures and updates! As much as I hate leaving for several days, I didn’t have to worry because Keri was so good to my kitties💛 Truly phenomenal and reliable sitter.”

“Marilyn S. Was superb! She was warm, & friendly with my dogs, very professional, punctual, & followed directions as requested. She went above & beyond in some cases. I was very unsure at first to use a service & having a stranger come into my home to care for my dogs but I was immediately at ease after her first visit. She sent picture updates and my dogs looked very relaxed and I could enjoy my time away. She was a life saver. I highly recommend.”

“Haley was great with our 6 ferrets while we were away. I get to leave them home and go on short trips with peace of mind knowing they are getting the play and care they need.”

“Tiana does such an amazing job with our pups! She takes the extra time to make sure they get to play, sniff and explore after being cooped up for hours. And that’s in addition the main ask of letting them outside for a bathroom break and feeding them. She truly is a lifesaver for us when we’re away from home for an extended period.”

“Super friendly and nonjudgemental about the fact that I haven’t been able to clean my litter often enough due to chronic pain. Went above and beyond by carrying more than just the litter trash out behind the back of the building to the dumpster.”

“My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!”

“Thank you for caring for my cat so well! It was calming to know my pet was in good hands during my absence. I truly valued the updates and the attentive care you gave. Your dependability and warmth made the experience stress-free. I look forward to booking with you again and will gladly recommend you to others.”

“Julie did a wonderful job looking after our cat, Felix. He was shy with her initially, which we expected. But he warmed up to her as she fed him and played with him. Julie provided great photos and videos, which went a long way to comfort us pet parents missing our baby!”

About: Throughout high school, my family fostered dogs through a local rescue, where we had the opportunity to take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs and around animals and I have always been the go to pet and house sitter for friends and family! I have taken care of my own dogs in addition to fostering dogs for about 2 years and dog sitting for families for over 3 years! I am currently a college student at Lehigh University living on campus and I do have a car, so I am more than willing to stop by and care for your pets or dog and house ist for longer times if needed! Having experience in dog sitting in addition to fostering dogs and cats, I have a good understanding of how to care for a pet and how to cater to their needs and their environment, no matter their size, temperament, or age!
“Sean kept us in the loop the entire time we were in Ireland and sent us so many photos! He even wiped our dogs down when they came in from the rain. We will be booking again! Thank you Sean!”

“Danielle is amazing! Super communicative and helpful. She gives useful tips and recommendations, and will go above and beyond too. Would book her again and again (and we have).”

“Clare watched our 2 big dogs while we were out of town. She was very professional and shared updates with pictures promptly each day. I felt like my dogs were in safe hands with such an experienced, responsible, and caring person. I would definitely book Clare again!”

We rely on Heather to take care of our cats anytime we go on vacation. She is amazing as far as taking care of their individual food needs and attention to each cat! Heather communicates every day about each cat and also provides photos of each! I highly recommend Heather for your pet's care!

Amanda is so great with animals. We have an extremely anxious cat that most other sitters never see, but came out for pets with her! Had she not taken pictures of the event, we probably wouldn't have believed it happened. She's responsible and accountable and we will definitely book Amanda again in the future.
I have both an indoor cat and an outdoor stray that I care for and Paige did a fantastic job taking care of both of them while I was away for a week. She even managed to get my timid cat to trust her, which is no small feat. I can absolutely recommend her for your pet sitting needs.

JJ is trustworthy, reliable, and took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away for almost two weeks. She dropped in every day to ensure they had their daily wet food, scooped their litter, and kept sufficient dry kibble and water available to them. My home was kept neat and clean, and she brought in my mail each day. Most importantly, she is an animal lover herself so my boys had playtime on the sunny enclosed porch - their favorite space - and affection! My experience with JJ was very positive. She is a genuinely nice person and I will definitely use her services again whenever I travel. Thanks, JJ!

We selected Julie when our normal Rover sitter was no longer available. I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond in every possible way. I felt like our cats were in great hands and I’ll be looking to her the next time we need our boys cared for.

💖💖Matthew( top-rated service) did a awesome job with my pet, I feel incredibly grateful and so lucky to have found him. He cared for my cat following all the recommendations I gave him and exceeded our expectations. I can only say thank you, and I would call him without hesitation whenever I need him. He is the right person to take care of your pet when you need. 💖💖

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rockledge. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
